Anyone predicted either team in the finals? Should be a good one.

Plenty of people wanted it to happen for "nostalgia" even though most of these people don't remember or weren't alive in the '80s but I think it was mostly Laker fanboys who wanted their team to face the best opponent in the finals.

This is pretty stupid. While most saw the Celtics would be pretty good based on the fact that they had the big 3 before the season started, most predicted the Lakers wouldn't even make the playoffs, let alone the Finals, based on the offseason turmoil with Kobe and the team (Bynum was unknown impact-wise and there was no Gasol).

Most saw the Celtics reaching the finals after the KG trade for the Lakers it wasn't until after the run they made with Gasol in the lineup.
