this is huge Seriously, if this does anything to stop making fans go all excited about summer league without even knowing what to look at (oh, he didn´t score 20, bust !!) than it has my vote Those guys are great, especially since it´s not like they are having any aspirations to call real games anytime soon + they obviously have the blessings of the magic at least seeing they are official employees 5 days a week, so that makes the magic go up a bit in my book .

Galante has been with the Magic for 14 years, and Dante has been with them for quite awhile himself...they are company guys, and the Magic enjoy them...which is why they got their own internet show last season...they are good dudes...their on the Scott Van Pelt show right now...

If your watching summer league games, you should be smart enough to not need real commentary. D&G are the only things that make the SL watchable. Like they said on the SVP show, if you want to watch decent basketball you're better off just going down to the local court.

I really dont care but you would think you are catering to die hard fans who are stupid enough to watch this crap (oh, im one of them, flying to vegas sunday for their league) you would think they would actually make it so that they would be more boring and detailed compared normal games with fans who just want to be entertained are watching.

It's okay to talk about non related basketball stuff every now and then, but to constantly say "summer league sucks" "we don't care about these games" "i could check how many points Lopez scored, but I won't" etc. etc. is just annoying. Makes me wonder why they're sitting on their ass and watching three full SL games a day when they aren't required to do so. And the dude with glasses and gayish voice is acting like he's a hunk or something. That IS hilarious.

I'd have no problem with *some* funny commentary in sl games that basically are worth very little, but if most of the talk is completely unrelated to the action on court or even basketball in general it's just annoying. I don't need to know that the pbp guy is eating cold pizza and I'm not interested in his mp3 collection. Those guys probably should do a comedy show on radio instead of provding commentary for ball games.

Dante is the least annoying one, Galante talks about unrelated stuff 80% of the time. Dante does it 70% of the time. When nick anderson was there, they fooled around less.

LOL @ the guys from the webcast playing the Thundercats theme song in honor of OKC winning the summer league. I wouldn't mind these guys doing Vegas. The Vegas broadcast last year was ok until one of the guys started acting like Dominique McGruire was the hottest woman in Vegas. I hope he can control himself if Dom has a good play this summer.

Smetimes they are funny but something I have noticed is that they dont know much about basketball
For example. They were making fun of the Adriatic League, its ok to not know what it is, but then they said they could even be all-stars in the Adriatic League, wich is a league of the best teams in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and other countries of the Adriatic Sea, and some NBA players played in
