You didn't learn. You have to hold the shift key and press a letter, it makes it big.

Re: Team Logos
Haha, awesome post. I never realized how many of the designs included a basketball. Most of them I don't even think about - eg. Warriors basketball, Mav's basketball.
Hawks - Hawk holding ball
Celtics - Leprechaun holding basketball
Bobcats - Cat lunging forward
Bulls - Stylized bull face
Cavs - Sword against basketball
Mavericks - Shield with horse on basketball backdrop
Nuggets - Text against mountains
Pistons - Text against basketball
Warriors - Warrior with lightning bolt against basketball
Rockets - Stylized "R"
Pacers - Stylized "P" with basketball in center
Clippers - Text against outlined basketball
Lakers - Text against basketball
Grizzlies - Stylized bear face
Heat - Burning basketball through hoop
Bucks - Buck face on triangle
Wolves - Wolf face against trees
Nets - Shield with basketball and hoop
Hornets - Hornet bouncing basketball
Knicks - Stylized text on basketball backdrop
Magic - Stylized text with glittering basketball
Sixers - Text with "flying" basketball
Suns - Text with sun-like basketball shooting upwards
Blazers - Pinwheel with each line representing a player
Kings - Text with crossed lances above basketball
Spurs - Stylized text with spur incorporated
Sonics - Text with basketball with "S" incorporated
Raptors - Raptor dribbling basketball
Jazz - Text on mountain backdrop which becomes basketball
Wizards - Text with half moon basketball and wizard holding basketball
So what's that - 21 of 30 current logos have a basketball somewhere in there as part of the design. It seems weird because alot of other sports don't tend to include equipment in their logos, but my guess is compared to a football or hucky puck/stick, a basketball is alot more design friendly. Nobody likes random hockey sticks in an image, and the shape of a football doesn't look that great with a logo and would become really repetitive on more than one logo (compare the amount of circular logos you see with the ones shaped like footballs - a thousand to one).
A circle is incorporated into so many logo designs in all types of industries, so I think it just makes sense to make that circle a basketball when you're a basketball team.

For some of these I agree, but what else are the Heat supposed to do for a logo?

Re: Team Logos
No one had enough balls, eh?
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Re: Team Logos
I think the compromise lays in between. Teams should have 2 logos. 1 logo includes a ball somewhere to easily identify the team with the sport (for the uninitiated). Logo 2 is for uniforms, courts...places where it's quite obvious what sport is being performed.
