Sorry, I thought the "almost" reffered to "singlehandedly" and not to "won".

I agree with genjuro.
Writing correctly is also fundamental.
You said he won it almost single handedly...

I think China is better, especially on their home court, again IF Yao is 100%.

Seriously, if USA doesn't win this year, it will be a travesty. I more excited for the Olympics then I was for the finals. There is so much riding on it then just a gold medal.

You have honestly never seen a round robin before...That's actually impressive that you have never heard or seen that before...but anyway

All teams play each other in their group. 6 teams in each group, top 4 go through, the second round looks something like this...

A/B = group # = where in group they finished

Game 1:
A1 vs. B4
2:
A3 vs. B2

3:
B1 vs. A4
4:
B3 vs. A2

Semi Finals:
Winner of G1 vs G2
Winner of G3 vs. G4

Finals:
Winner of each semi-final.

The groups were arranged since August of last year, they just added in the last three teams about a week ago.

I have to agree with above poster. The groups were released a while ago, i have known for the last few months that Australia avoided USA and to a lesser extent Spain/Greece. Does anyone gives the aussies a chance of moving out of their group? Our depth chart looks roughly like this:

Bogut/Anstey
Anderson/Nielson
Worthington/Redhage
Newley/Barlow
Bruton/Mills

Bogut/Anderson are both pretty good bigs and CJ Bruton/Patrick Mills combo at the point will hold their own. (Mills plays for Saint Mary's college) Not a lot of great individual star talent but I think this a decent team with some very good young basketballers. We wont challenge for a medal but I don't think we will be easybeats either.
