Designate JVG as my successor and then kill myself by dunking myself in pigeon food and then slowly bleed to death by letting the pigeons of new york eat me.

If I was David Sten I would ask myself why American professional sports fans are OK and support a Canadian team with over 30 years of treadition being screwed over by a sports league, but yet whine when it happens to one of there own.

It's not like the NBA HAD to be in Canada. Do you feel the same way about the NFL?

Personally, I would get rid of the whole "fouling at the end of the game" strategy, which makes for very boring, very drawn out basketball. It could easily be eliminated by a rule change along the lines of:
"In the last 2 minutes of the game, when a team over the limit commits a non-shooting foul, instead of shooting two free throws and giving up possession of the ball, the fouled team will shoot only one free throw, but regardless of whether the free throw is made or not, the fouled team will keep possession, inbounding the ball from the sidelines."
what tha hell are you thinking lol?? no fouling?? your team is down by 1 with 23 seconds left and their suppose to stand there helpless until the clock runs out!
sounds like your team has been a victim of an emberassing late game collapse...
taking your logic...if I was David Stern I would get rid of the SG position and make SF, PF and C all PF. That would help my Raps alot!

Off myself.
Wait scratch that. Give us back our team and then off myself.

I would resign. But I'd make sure a reformer would be in place to take my position. I think that there is a huge problem having the commissioner be just an adjunct for the league owners and not an advocate for the interests of the fans. I'd hire somebody like Henry Abbot to consult on reforming the league. NBA basketball is not robust right now and I think they need to be open to both transparency and innovation, and all Stern can come up with is a ball that nobody wants to dribble.
