Opposed to 19 for baseball. That's just down-right pathetic no matter how you try to spin it. And this is in a league where half of the teams make the playoffs.
Their is no perfect deal in sports at how to create parity. A salary cap has its advantages and disadvantages, and not having a salary cap has its advantages and disadvantages. Looking at the results, it's pretty clear that the NBA is the least equal sport. Going into the season, only a select few teams have a shot at winning the championship. At least in baseball, a new team every year (at least in the past 29 years) is more likely to win a World Series.

The NBA is clearly not the least equal sport. Try again. Also let's stop talking about baseball, it's really quite an awful sport with limited appeal and growth prospects.

All that means is there are more dynasties, which comes from one player having a much larger effect on the game than baseball. I don't know why you think parity means championships, I'm not sure who told you that, but slap them.

Right, and that select few- like 6, maybe- turns over almost completely every 5 years or so. The only teams that have won championships with totally different teams are the Lakers (best GM ever) and the Celtics (just random good moves with 15 years of suck in between them).

Yeah, a new team has a chance to try to beat the Yankees and Red Sox in the playoffs and then have their players sign with those teams the next year, then go back to sucking for 10 years because they don't have the money to compete without being 10x as smart as the big market teams. Sounds fabulous.
