Lol why would he come over to play in the d-league when he can make millions in europe? Unless you think the magic's front office is really that dumb.

Re: Fran Vazquez Decision
The fact that he doesn't play for the Spanish national team (even though they could use another big) says something. I don't think he would be an impact player in the NBA and , in retrospect, his decision seems to be correct.

Exactly. If he was as good as he is made out to be, he would have already been bought out. Thats why he ought' to play in that there D-League for a year or so...

that doesnt make sense to me, are you talking about the Magic buying him out or his present team?

You never heard of the large contract buyouts in Europe have you? And NBA teams are only allowed to spend up to around half a million dollars. Even if there werent any restrictions on buyouts, i doubt the Magic would spend that much, apparently its alot. He just would not be worth it. I read an article where Pau Gasol said that Vazquez has the tools to be a good NBA player but not the mentallity obviously (aka he is a pussy). He doesnt have the heart nor the testicular fortitude.

I guarantee that he will go no lower than #11...
And risk wasting their pick if he decides to go to Europe again? He already said the NBA isn't his dream..

^You don't know? He won't be drafted again. The Magic hold his rights. Hence THIEF said no lower than 11 (when the Magic drafted him).

You know it's bad when Pau Gasol basically calls you soft.
