Rudy who?

I think Derrick Rose will be on the team in 2012. Beasley should be on the roster as well. And not to mention Oden also.

Wow. Bayless seriously?
I would personally pick Eric Gordon over him. But who knows, he might surprise.

There is no chance in hell Melo is left off the team IF he decides to give it another run.

As of now, I think quite a few of this years players COULD come back IF they are not forced to give up another 3-4 straight summers. You have to understand that for guys like LeBron, Wade, Melo that they would be giving up something like 7-8 straight summers for Team USA, that is an awful lot for anyone to handle. The only one I think has a chance of returning from those 3 is LeBron, if they expect the same type of commitment, and that is mostly because I expect him to use it as a marketing tool in Europe, just like 08 was a marketing tool in China. Mine would go something like this:

D12/Oden
Bosh/Aldridge
LBJ/Beasley
Durant/Iggy
Paul/Williams

And then maybe a couple of vet roleplayers we are not thinking much about right now, or a combo guard like a Mayo.

It starts with around 30 invites. Here is who I would invite.

Center:
Dwight Howard
Andrew Bynum
Greg Oden
Tyson Chandler
Emecka Okafor
Spencer Hawes

Power Forwards:
Chris Bosh
Amare Stoudemire
David West
LaMarcus Aldridge
Josh Smith
Michael Beasley

Small Forwards:
LeBron James
Carmelo Anthony
Caron Butler
Rudy Gay
Danny Granger
Kevin Durant

Shooting Guards:
Kobe Bryant
Dwyane Wade
Brandon Roy
Kevin Martin
Andre Iguodala
OJ Mayo

Point Guards:
Chris Paul
Deron Williams
Gilbert Arenas
Monta Ellis
Devin Harris
Derrick Rose

Who I would choose to make the final cut:

5) Dwight Howard/Andrew Bynum/
4) Chris Bosh/David West/
3) LeBron James/Caron Butler/Kevin Durant
2) Kobe Bryant/Dwyane Wade/
1) Chris Paul/Deron Williams/Monta Ellis

That's just who I would choose but I do think that if he accepts an invitation, Carmelo will make the team.
