If it's a toss up between Bosh and Howard to see who would make the team, my money would be on Bosh. Not just because of the Colangelo connection but also his play at this year's Olympics. It should be Howard that's on the bubble even though he could easily develop to be much more of a monster in 2010.
However, I think both of these players will be back for 2010 and 2012. I can see a rotation of Bosh, Oden, and Howard at the 4/5 with Melo moving to the 3 and playing the 4 for emergency purposes.

Wade mainly due to his injuries and Kobe depends on how well the Lakers do, whether or not they win a ring.
One of the area's of weakness was that the team had no outside shooting/a player that can move without the ball on the perimeter. Paul/Deron/Wade/Kobe/LeBron all need the ball typically to score. All of them are better at creating shots for others and themselves over setting themself up for a good shot. Kevin Martin will be perfect for international basketball, few NBA players have his IQ and moves off the ball as well as he does. Plus he is a great shooter.
Line I think we'll see in 2010
PG: C. Paul/D. Williams
SG: B. Roy/K. Martin/A. Iggy
SF: L. James/K. Durant
PF: C. Bosh/C. Anthony/A. Horford
C : D. Howard/G. Oden
Team come 2012
PG: C. Paul/D. Williams
SG: K. Bryant/B. Roy/K. Martin
SF: L. James/K. Durant
PF: C. Bosh/C. Anthony
C : D. Howard/G. Oden
+Best defensive specialist in the league at the time (such as Prince for 08)
i think we learned these Olympics that Wade is better off the ball than he is at creating for others..he just never had the chance to do it in Miami. But good point about Martin, he would be a very good international player.

PG: Chris Paul, Deron Williams
These guys should have this slot on lockdown for the next 10 years.
SG: Kobe Bryant, Brandon Roy, Kevin Martin
Kobe should come back as THE featured player on this team. He proved in the Spain game that he's the man to put the team on his back at the most important times. Wade and LeBron were rocks, but Kobe is still Kobe.
IMO Roy would be an ideal teammate on this team because of his all-around game and versatility. He's a leader and a steadying force. I think he'd really flourish on a National Team, in the same way he flourished on the All-Star team last year.
Kevin Martin is a big pick for me because he's such an efficient player. IMO he's one of the most underrated guys in the league and can make the most of every touch he gets. Perfect guy for this team.
SF: Tayshaun Prince, Kevin Durant
I still really like Tay as an important piece of this team. Tay provides defense, balance, experience, and a winning pedigree.
Durant is another big name for me because he's another guy who may have his position on lockdown for a dozen years. He needs to get out with this team and start doing his thing.
PF: Chris Bosh, Al Horford
Bosh was so solid in his Olympic minutes that I'd love to see him back as a versatile 2nd or 3rd option with the starting unit. He really stepped it up for the games and I also like his ability to make the very most of his limited touches.
Horford would be an ideal big off the bench because he gives us another way to control the paint and gobble up every miss. He looked like a vet in his rookie year and I like his maturity and abilities as a complimentary player.
C: Greg Oden, Andrew Bynum
If both of these guys can continue to grow their games this will be the biggest upgrade. They both bring excellent size and skill, and they will both be elite rebounders who will force our opponents to steer clear of the paint. At the very least, each of them should still be able to perform as well as Dwight's showing on offense.
