lol, I laughed real hard on that one.

I am going to go on a limb and pick my 5 breakout players for this season.

1. Tyrus Thomas- This is year 3 from him, and I expect big things from him. I see him averaging somewhere in the 14 points per game range and becoming a force on defense.

2. Marvin Williams- Last season was a good season for him, but I expect him to explode as the Hawks become a playoff contender again this season. He could average 20 a game with his teammate Joe Johnson.

3. Aaron Brooks- This season he will be the backup for Rafer Alston. He had a decent rookie campaign and averaged 5 a game last season, but I expect him to take more shots unlike last season. He could be our Kings version of Bobby Jackson a few years ago.

4. Andrew Bogut- Last season I expected him to breakout, and he did not disappoint. He averaged 14 and 9 a game. With the addition of Richard Jefferson He could get more oppurtunities to score as the Bucks offense will improve.

5. Beno Udrih- He had a surpising season last season averaging 12 a game last season. Now that he has Bobby Jackson to give him leadership and that he cashed in on a new contract I see him having a breakout year on this young Kings team.

He's the only player in the NBA capable of getting worse.

Al Thornton
Shaun Livingston if someone signs him
Marvin Williams
Jordan Farmer

People have mentioned thornton who i watched play some good fearless games last season. But the fact that a few of us have mentioned andray blatche and after that he was ignored leads me to believe he will be the suprise breakout player. Cause no one is picking him so when he breaksout it will be a suprise. Dude's a really young PF/C whos 6' 11' and versatile. He's been straight up dominant in some games and had good numbers as a starter.
He will gain more and more respect this year from people who hadn't noticed him previously

fixed.
Yi and Belinelli should breakout if they get playing time. I would like to see Shaun Livingston breakout also. He'd thrive in Golden State's system. Kevin Durant is another player that's going to have a great year.

I could also see Aldridge having a monster season with Oden next to him.

+1

I don't think people realize how much the presence of Oden is going to help Aldridge's game. He will be free from double teams and will be playing the high-low game with Oden.

Aldridge will be our leading scorer this season. Book it!

Wilson Chandler, given the mins is going to get anywhere from 8-12 points in the open system Dantoni is going to run, look for he and nate to have good seasons with the Knicks, Beasley is going to look better than rose this year, I also think that stuckey is going to have a bigger role this year, he should get more mins backing billups...

LaMarcus did it last year, so I say Udonis Haslem is one, and also, Tyrus Thomas, I got a feeling, lol.

i totally agree with you about andray blatche. i've always liked his game when i watched him several times last season. i think that kid got a lot of potential and talent but the problem is he plays on a team with three all-star players - arenas, jamison, and butler. there wont be enough touches for him to show the people what he can really do unless jamison or butler gets hurt then he will get a chance to shine
