You don't bring in Marshall for 3 point shooting anymore. He lost his shot and got out of shape in Cleveland plus he injured his shooting wrist. I don't think he has played much at all since that injury.

For the vet min, who cares?

We all know Donyell is probably washed up. They won't expect more than 5-10 minutes a game from him, and a veteran presence. Sure he's not the player he once was, but it's hardly a big deal. If he can't regain his touch he'll be gone in a year. If he can, Philly gains a player who can help spread the floor.

It wouldn't surprise me if a trade like this helps motivate him to get in better shape as well, being in a new situation often does that to a player.
