I could give a **** about Monta Ellis..

miller summed it up well..there's a few things he isn't allowed doing, and he does one of them..possibly losing a fortune..it's just **** up really..some guys are just idiots..this guy might have just lost more money than I'll probably make in my entire life, just because he couldn't control himself..god damn, this world is messed up..

Can't feel sorry for a man that knowingly did something wrong and lied about it!

Monta gave us something to be hopeful about, his whole life depends on this,
Where can he possibly go, if his 66M contract gets taken away from him, and he
has no college degree, coming straight out of high school.

His whole life is at risk right now, this is more than basketball now..
I'm praying for him. Hopefully everything turns out for the best.

Dude, this has to be the funniest post I've ever read on here. I hope you are really young, because it's obvious you have no perspective on life. The guy has already made more money than 95% of the people on this board will make over the next 30 years. His life is not at risk for god sakes. Great to hear you are so concerned for him instead of people that are actually going through real **** they didn't bring upon themselves. If Ellis never played another game, he'd still be way better off than me, and that's counting on the fact he's blown all of his money already.

Well Ellis already spent over 5 + mil through credit, and if the contract gets voided.. His credit line will be gone.. no one will ever give him a loan or any sort of money.. Even after being voided .. how will he manage to pay off all those spenditures ? Never thought about that? 5 mil is allot to come up with, if your a broken NBA player.

His life is ruined.. Your imagining him having 1.9 mil in 3 years, but never took into account the expenses.. So before assuming that I don't have any perception in life, why don't you go ahead and think straight. Because people don't get money and just keep it.. especially NBA players. TARD

And how can you say that he'll be successfully even after this? Have you seen how many idiot ex NBA players have gone into bankruptcy and ruined their lives (Vin Baker..etc) .. Your a tard, and I can care about Monta Ellis because he's somebody who I enjoy watching.. I don't care about his personalty but he is one of my favorite players in the league.

How do you go around spending 5+ million that you don't have? If that's the case then he really is an idiot and was before this whole injury debacle. He deserves whatever is coming to him and there is no sympathy.

I'd really love to see his expenditures list. I gather Stern will mass mail it to all rookies during their summit as a guideline of what not to spend your money on before you sign that star contract that may or may not be coming. :noway:

I can't feel sorry for someone stupidity, and I don't understand why there would be sympathy for Monta Ellis economic situation.

If he has debt...i guess he could sell all the things he has got in order to pay the debt.

After taxes? About five million. He spent his entire first year income in the summer. The financial irresponsibility is astounding. If he truly spent that much already I have no doubt that he would have ended up broke after retiring.

He would've made 11 flat each year. but I doubt he'll make 11 mil in his career in the NBA.

From a pure humanistic side, I hope Ellis recovers from his injury. Sounds bad. However, he certainly brought it on himself.

I've never been in a position to make 66 million dollars guaranteed to play a game unless I do a few stupid things to void my contract. I've never been in that position, but I'm guessing I wouldn't be doing those stupid things.

America is losing the war to stupidity.

Anyway, I've heard people wonder about how a player as talented as Ellis dropped to the 2nd round. I seem to remember him being pinned as an injury prone moron in high school. And now, his career ends as an injury prone moron.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Thank You! There are alot more people in line that I'd feel sorry over first before Monta Freakin Ellis. If he get's his contract voided and his career ended like this then that's all on him. Sucks that it happened but he has no one to blame but himself. He should of realized that his health is his meal ticket and should of been real careful of the activities that he partakes in during the off season. He's a Class A Idiot in my book. Him and Radmanovich are in a special class of their own. I hope Monta Ellis does banking with Indy Mac. That would just be the icing on the cake!

Yeah, life is hard when you have a lot of "spenditures" to pay off.

i remember hearing some JR Rider comparisons...an incident like this doesn't really surprise me. If he injured himself not doing something stupid like riding a motorcycle then I'd feel sorry towards him, but otherwise I don't.
