What exactly does a 'physical' consist of?

When people say, 'the trade will go through pending so-and-so passes their physical.' What tests do they go through?

That and they check out the knees and such for permanent or unknown damage. Heart problems. Basically anything that will turn their million dollar man into a million dollar spectator.

basically checking if theirs any problems with the players such as bad body parts, weak muscles, speed and all that. Oh yeah it also consists of kobe telling you how your ass tastes.
