Drawing charges is the most underrated thing a player does on the defensive end because it doesn't show up on the stat sheet.
Think about its impact. It contributes to putting the opposing team into the penalty. It can contribute to putting a player into foul trouble which can dictate coaching decisions. It's a guaranteed turnover. (sometimes a shot is blocked out of bounds, or into the opposing team's hands)

You have all these Centers and PF in your list and don't have Porzingis who is in league of his own as far as rim protection goes?

Adams and Roberson are carrying the Thunder defense. They give George the freedom to roam and Russ and Melo get away with barely providing anything defensively.

If offense and status didn't matter in this, Horford and Robertson should be locks so far. Luc probably too. And Draymond shouldn't be in this year. But we all know how this works, and as long as they don't get any more injuries and their teams have decent records, Kawhi, Green, Gobert, Paul and one of Giannis/Davis/Butler will be in, or something like that.
