Who ended up being the 2nd best team of the year?

76ers were the only team to push the Raptors to 7 games.

Bucks and Warriors both brought the Raps to 6.

For the sake of this conversation, it's the Warriors WITHOUT Kevin Durant

6ers of course, with the east being the deeper conference too

The Warriors were the 2nd best team. This shouldn't be a question.

The team who finished second.

And the Raptors, who finished 1st, was the best team of the year. Crazy stuff.

It's hard to say because it's all about matchups and the raptors had good defensive matchups and strategies for all of their opponents. Raptors match up well against 76ers and had great team defense against the warriors but could the 76ers do to the warriors what the raptors did? I doubt it. The raptors were also ice cold the the majority of the 76ers series from 3. Milwaukee seemed like the toughest matchup but their bench was inconsistent and non-existent in their loses. At the end of the day every team that lost to toronto had an argument for 2nd place but I voted warriors because come 2 minutes left in the 4th none of the teams I the east could handle their intensity or have a response to their big boy shots.

Mtach-ups matter (again I'll say it). It doesn't matter what the Sixers played like against the raptors. What would they play like against the bucks and warriors is the question. I know my answer and it ain't the Sixers.

Sixers not only because they pushed the Raptors to 7. I felt they would have beat any other team in their way.

^^^ Match-ups do matter but Raptors were a terrible match-up for us, as was advertised heavily before the series. We were praying to play the Bucks 2nd round. Doesn't really matter but suggesting otherwise is revisionist history.

So Sixers are universally accepted as better then Bucks cause the series went 7 games?
