Please go away Dwight...sick of you. I can't wait til this ends. But it won't. I can already see it now "Blake Griffin mum on Clippers future", "Blake won't talk about contract extension" for the next 2 years... :banghead:

they have literally no assets, except Blake which they won't trade.

Look, Blake Griffin is a nice guy and very good player with significant upside, but he will never be as impactful as Dwight Howard.

I can understand the loyalty aspect. But from a purely business and basketball perspective, you pull the trigger.

Blake does not make a team 20 games better like Dwight does. Griffin is near Boozer and Love in terms of defensive impact. Would be a no brainer from the Clippers standpoint.

i hope stern rejects it for basketball reasons. effin clips deserve it after getting cp3 handed to them
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

From an emotional standpoint, Orlando fans have had time to prepare, but that was never the case for Cleveland fans. From a talent standpoint and what Miami would have been able to offer is a different story. Now, a contender would have traded for Bron, and offered some value for him as a rental.

Let's get back to the topic on hand. If you wish to discuss it further we can do so by pm.

The Clippers should offer Griffin for Howard. Seriously, it's not even a question. Howard is a better player and has never had any sort of injury. Doing this also guarantees CP3 will stay.

If the Clippers really want to contend, I don't see why they wouldn't trade Griffin for Howard.

For Orlando, Griffin/Jordan is probably the best package they could get.

Throw in Anderson, and it makes sense for both sides.

If the Magic do trade with the Clippers...no doubt Griffin will be gone at minimum...

I would assume they have to package Blake in a deal, but then again they may rather just avoid trading him to the Lakers and take by Deandre.

They'll find a way to get Dwight without giving up CP3/Blake. Rig City is in full effect.
