Seriously, it's really sad. I've never met someone that was proud to have abandoned their kids. Just because you're paying the mom doesn't make it all good. You destroy the kid's self esteem and he loses out on the experience of growing up with a dad.

Marrying the mother doesn't make a man a good father. There are plenty of child-abusing dads who are married to the mom. Heck, Michael Jackson's parents were (and still are) married.

Things I learn on the general board: someone pointing out that a man has five children by five different women isn't a slam against the guy, it's a slam against the women. So, there's no shame in having five babies by five different women? Having sex with 1000 women (with a condom) = cool. Having unprotected sex with five women and abondoning your kids ought to be the thing Dwight is most ashamed of in his entire life. Paying money has absolutely nothing with being a father. Again, the fact that I have to say that is depressing. A father raises his offspring. That takes a great deal of work, and almost none of that work involves money. One cannot be a father to five different children, from five separate mothers, who live in five different locations. Well in the warped view that celebrities can do no wrong maybe but in the real world a guy who goes around getting multiple women pregnant without committing to relationships is usually seen as a bum or a dead-beat.

Regardless getting a bunch of ho's knocked up is a big L. He's needlessly paying child support to like 5 different women. He's screwed if he even comes to a post-retirement Allen Iverson Antoine Walker situation and with his obvious poor off-court decision making that seems kinda likely.
