Timofey Mozgov is such a underrated player. Good pickup by the Cavaliers. I would have love to see Mozgov with the Warriors.

This a necessary move but it certainly mortgages the Cavs future.

If, and it's a big IF, Lebron and Love don't decide to stay Cavs after this year Cleveland put themselves in a precarious position by trading the assets they had that could give them long term cornerstone pieces (1st's and Waiters) and only getting pieces that may all be gone within a year.

I also think that much has been made of the lack of chemistry and cohesion for this Cleveland team. But having to incorporate three new key rotation cogs that will likely each play 20+ min per game isn't gonna help that issue. If there were communication issues before they will exist now.

But with all that said the Cavs desperately needed a rim protector and depth. These moves (functionally Waiters + Memphis 1st for Mozgov, Iman and JR) give the Cavs at least ten semi-competent bodies.

Kyrie/Delly
JR/Iman
LeBron/Mike Miller/Shawn Marion
Kevin Love / Tristan Thompson
Mozgov

It's not a title worthy team this year but I think come playoff time it might be a roster with better fit/complementary skills than the roster with just Dion instead of Mozgov, Shump and JR.

Yep, its supply and demand. The supply of defensive bigs is finite and in this case Cleveland's demand for his services is above league average - hence willing 'overpay'.

This should lock-in Lebron for this year. Cleveland should be much better as well.

Irving/Dellavedova

Lebron/M. Miller

Mosgov/Thompson

? Cant see Price, Joe Harris, James Jones, or Haywood getting any minutes really.

Harris over Miller. Harris is actually an ok defender and moves well without the ball, while Miller is slow as chit

Great move, I think they are still one big man away from being in the Finals, not sure about Marion playing PF or Thompson being a center.

Not even close to the same situation. Cleveland traded out of need. They were going to have to overpay for Koufos or Mosgov.

And the Pelicans first will be likely around #12 overall, while the two coming from CLE will very likely be in the 20s. Gigantic difference in how valuable those two packages are.

Seems expensive, but I guess if they can win it will be worth it.

So who's going for Dalembert? :?

I'm not sure about Harris playing over Miller in the playoffs

Dallas, they need a backup center for Chandler. Maybe Miami but they love Whiteside.

If Im the Cavs, I grab Dalembert as well. Two legit centers who can protect the rim and TT can just backup Love.

Toronto needs 1. CLE still needs a backup C too. A lot of teams would love to have Dally for 15 min off the bench

Sort of reminds me of the Meeks signing by Pistons. Sometimes it is worth it to "overpay" for players that fit perfectly.

Wow Mozgov is gonna GREATLY benefit for playing with LeBron.

Half of his fouls are gonna be ignored now playing on LeBrons team.

He's probably only going to want to sign for a contender in a good market. Cle and TOR might not be on his radar. I could see him going back to Dallas
