Dude did the Lakers steal your top two draft pick or something? why are you so upset?

A good friend of Kobe Bryant and ex laker Derek Fisher had his team play hard the final few games and now because of that, the Knicks are outside the top 3. Honestly for Fisher's sake, I hope he has a good year because the fans will never forget this. He will get no love year 2 if the team doesn't perform, he had his grace period after this season. Being paid big bucks too won't help though if Fisher's fired, at least he nice big check from Phil and can say he was an NBA head coach.

Completely goes against the notion of "Play hard all 82 games man, for the integrity of the game" What good does that do after seeing this?

Man I'm just messing around....I got nothing but love for Fish you guys will be fine. It's just luck.

So let's suppose Derek Fisher did that on purpose and believe this idea of yours, that'd mean that Phil Jackson is also in on it right???

Meaning the idiot here is STILL James Dolan as he's the one who put those two in the franchise by bringing in Phil. Any self respecting Knicks fan ought to be outrages with James Dolan rather than tossing energy at senseless conspiracy theories.

#4 is still a damn good pick, suppose this occurs:

1. MINN = Okafor
2. LAL = Russell
3. PHI = Mudiay (Philly is the one squad I think would pass on Towns as they have Noel and Embiid)
4. NYK = Towns
....

show some chin NYK fans, y'all are still in this.

Guys like Poeman are about helpful as James Dolan
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance

Why edit your post ? Afraid to get banned? Funny how two Laker fans liked that garbage you wrote up.

He's probably one of those people who cry about parity and sharing the talent among all teams yet when tonight happens when a talent depleted team gets shafted, its "LMAO! YEAH."

The lotto is such a joke. It says it all when the Cavs have 4 no.1 overall picks in a 12 year draft span and the Bobcats/Hornets(now) have never gotten a single no.1 overall pick. Even a year when the team was getting handy downs from the rest of the league....they don't even get the no.1 overall pick. Just terrible.

I understand why Knicks fans are mad but they really shouldn't be. I've always been under the impression that the top 4 prospects were all roughly in the same tier, with Towns maybe a half-step ahead. Many scouts would put Porzingis there as well. The Knicks have a glaring need everywhere except SF, so they can just take whoever's left. Be that Okafor, Mudiay or Russell they'll end up with a great prospect regardless.

I'm just happy the Sixers got 3rd. High enough to get an elite PG prospect but not high enough to horde yet another top C prospect.

Yes we will and I know our franchises will be on two opposite paths, pray yours is in the right one

Trust me...It will be 100%

Thank Byron Scott and Kobe Bryant for that.

For your own sanity I hope so, I for one would love to see a competitive NYK squad but with Dolan around, I don't know when that'll happen. Maybe luck will let Towns fall to you.

Sad you so blindly believe you're own words

None of us know how the top 4 will play out.

Any 4 guys right now could go anywhere...Do you even really know who the best player is for the Lakers?

No one knows, all I am thankful for us is that we got top 4...5th pick was the pick of doom

Knicks fans are only mad because our team was the only team that fell in the draft. That sucks. Fourth pick though, is going to be fineeeeee.

I don't know how they'll get enough stops to win a title with Randle at the 4 & Okafor at the 5, if that's the route they take.

They'll be in the playoffs though. So, they've improved.

The Knicks. The only team to get jumped by two teams in this draft.

Draft Lottery Results

1. Minnesota Timberwolves (25%)
2. Los Angeles Lakers (11.9%)
3. Philadelphia 76ers (15.6%)
4. New York Knicks (19.9%)
5. Orlando Magic (8.8%)
6. Sacramento Kings (6.3%)
7. Denver Nuggets (4.3%)
8. Detroit Pistons (2.8%)
9. Charlotte Hornets (1.7%)
10. Miami Heat (1.1%)
11. Indiana Pacers (0.8%)
12. Utah Jazz (0.7%)
13. Phoenix Suns (0.6%)
14. Oklahoma City Thunder (0.5%)
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

Who said this was conspiracy theory? I don't think Fisher cares much about the Lakers as Knicks head coach but it just looks bad to the fan seeing the team Fisher is known so much for his Lakers lure/tenure where when the Lakers jumped past the Knicks, it just compounds the entire season on his coaching and makes it look bad to the common fan. Of course Fisher isn't worrying about the Lakers, he has bigger things to worry about with his current job.

The players don't care about any of that as far as tanking for a draft pick, that's fine. But as fans who watched this past garbage season, tonight just sucks and after seeing how defiant Fisher was about "We don't care about the lotto or who the draft pick", it is something the fans just aren't forgetting.

Finally Rubio has some value as a pass-first point guard. Now he's gonna get to pass to Lavine, Wiggins and Okafor/Towns. Should lead the league in assists for the next 5-6 years.

I said theory, not conspiracy theory.

But for you to connect Fisher coaching and tie it to the Lakers lotto selection is a little tin-foilish. I mean the Lakers sucked hot garbage too.

Rigged for the Lakers AGAIN. Knicks already have a star in their prime in Melo, Lakers have a corpse in Kobe.
