I am not a hater, just a realist, what's wrong with calling out those who aren't ???

Rondo has a history of implosions and Karl likes things his way as well, just pointing out the inevitable rather than the constant King fans denials

As for Rondo's statements.."Many truths are said in jest"

My "opinion" is that I don't presume to know the future of what will happen with the team-which is a fact not really an opinion. Honestly, just quit while you're behind.

Rondo has been making this type of deadpan humor with the press since ever. It's a bit bizarre you wouldn't be aware of that if you're a Celtics fan.

Rondo's just a smart guy who has a problem with people (including his head coaches) telling him what to do if he thinks it should be done differently. It's ridiculous to think that the situation in Dallas was some isolated incident. It's very well documented otherwise.

Yes, it is serious. I'm a Celtics fan. I understand those things with Rondo. Through it all Rondo and Doc remain very close, and they were fine together. Rondo was like best buddies with Stevens for the year or two he was here. Don't over-blow it. What happened in Dallas and the severity of it is and was probably a one off issue. Who cares if he threw one bottle through a TV after/before a playoff game? Dude is competitive. KG used to punch players in practice. These ultra competitive guys blow up every now and then. All you got is one incident with the Celtics in the 7+ years he was here. Excuse me if I shrug it off.

Ray Allen not liking Rondo is a meaningless thing to me. Ray became self absorbed by the end of his tenure with the Celtics and thought he was much better than he actually was. KG and PP never had an issue with Rondo, and Ray always felt slighted on the Celtics. His ego couldn't deal with it so he left. Whatever. Tubby Smith started Rondo at SG for his last year in college. Rondo doesn't like stupid ideas. That was a stupid idea. Not letting Rondo call his own plays more often than not is also very silly (Dallas). Carlisle never wanted Rondo, and it was pretty clear from the day he got to Dallas that he was pretty unwilling to work with Rondo (and vice versa honestly). Let's not act like that was all on Rondo there.

Pretty sure they both have history. Rondo has been a canicer his entire career. When he was good you put up with it. But he's sucked for 2 or 3 years now and after perhaps the biggest team sinking of all time last year I don't understand how he wasn't blackballed from the league.
