Toronto? Nobody outside of Toronto, ever thought they'd win one this soon, especially during LeBron Eastern Conference years, and season after he left to the Western Conference.

Trust me...nobody inside Toronto thought they'd win either until Kawhi appeared out of nowhere.

Since I'm alive:
Lakers 11 championships
Celtics 4
Sixers 1
Pistons 3
Bulls 6
Rockets 2
Spurs 5
Miami 3
Mavs 1
Warriors 4
Cavs 1
Raptors 1
Bucks 1

13 teams (maybe 14 this year) in 43 years... so I'm not optimistic.

Have never won, and then if you don't count the St Louis Hawks, Rochester Royals, and the Sonics championships, the Hawks, Kings, and Thunder haven't won any either.

EDIT - Pacers and Nets both won ABA championships.

I think the Cavaliers will definitely win one before LeBron retires.

I doubt the Nuggets will ever win a Championship.

My team won’t. We will still be purposely tanking after I leave earth. (Orlando Magic)

LOL, 73 is in some of our lifetimes
Celtics have won 15 championships in my lifetime.

As to the original question, certainly not in my lifetime

13 teams (maybe 14 this year) in 43 years... so I'm not optimistic.

The largest market, NY Knicks haven't won one in any our lifetimes. They last won in 1973.
Wowsers! Lol

LOL, 73 is in some of our lifetimes
Celtics have won 15 championships in my lifetime.

As to the original question, certainly not in my lifetime

:D

Lol, gotacha. I was born a few years later, just missed it.

Also, 15 ! Must be nice.

Nope. Not mine. Even if you are a teenager you probably won't see every team win one. Some teams might even be added in the next decade making it harder.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have gotten out of the first round of the playoffs only 1 time in 34 seasons.

Now, that doesn't mean they're going to always be the worst franchise in the history of the NBA... but... it certainly doesn't give me much faith that a title is on the horizon.

______________________________

In fact, no Minnesota sports team has even reached the championship game in 32 years.

Vikings: 0 titles in 63 seasons.
Timberwolves: 0 titles in 34 seasons.
North Stars/Wild: 0 titles in 49 seasons.
Twins: 2 titles in 63 seasons. ('87 and '91)

If we add D1 college sports:
Gophers football: 0 Rose Bowl berths or Big 10 titles in 63 seasons.
Gophers basketball: 0 titles (only 10 top 10 finishes in 128 seasons).

-----

Collectively, MN sports teams have made 50 playoffs without a title. No other state/city has reached 30. Once there... they have a collective winning percentage around 30%. The Twins currently are 0 - 18 in their last 18 playoff games.

Golden Gophers won NCs in football, but way back in the '60s and prior. We weren't born yet. lol
