Leading stat padder in NBA history. Look bo further than end of last night or even game 4 of the 2013 Finals when Wade was the player of the game.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Kyrie is actually leading the Finals now in PPG and SPG [after Game 4].

Kyrie === 25.0 PPG
LeBron = 24.8 PPG

Kyrie === 2.5 SPG
LeBron = 2.3 SPG

LeBron, however, still leads the Finals in RPG (11.0), APG (8.3), MPG (40.0) and Game Score (20.2).

But Tristan is still very clearly their best rebounder even if Bron grabs more uncontested ones than he does.

And his assists come at the cost of him having the highest turnovers per game as well. 8.3 assists per game with 5.75 turnovers per game isn't anywhere near a good ratio.

And he's not leading in points or steals anymore. This is arguing that he has an enormous presence in the game but it's quite the opposite if you actually watch the games.

This is a good headline but not really that impressive.

Chris Paul is much more in demand than Kyrie (even if you take the age into account), because of his tremendous skillset. And Cleveland, unfortunately, doesn't have enough resources. The first pick they can trade is 2020.

CP3 needs the ball in his hands to be effective
Lebron needs it too, and is ineffective off the ball
That would be a bad fit IMO

I used to think LeBron needed a great point guard like cp3 to really help his game because that way he could just attack, but it's like you said he "needs" the ball to be effective, so it wouldn't work at all.

If I were in Curry's shoes I would want to humiliate Lebron and make certain every one sees me as the best player in the world. Win or lose. I think any competitive person would feel the same.

I guess that's why Curry has already won a ring and is probably going to win another, while you're simply wondering what you would do if you were in his (supposedly ugly) shoes.
Call Curry whatever you want, "mentally weak", "not a competitive person", "only a 3 point shooter", as long as he is able to help his team win a championship... I'm pretty sure he doesn't care.

He focuses on stats more than winning. Kyrie and Lebron spent the last minute running into easy, open layups and then proceeding to foul Curry/Klay a few seconds later to even out 2s. Instead of chucking 3s to make some ground, they went for easy points. As long as you get those boxscore wins though.

This post is completely ridiculous. Instead of chucking 3's they went for easy baskets? So now going for easy baskets when you're down the last few minutes is stat padding? Easy, high percentage shots are what every team wants in the last few minutes, not chucking 3's.

So trading lay ups for Curry/Thompson free throws is how you would get your team back in the game? Ridiculous post.

Exactly.

That's why their team wins. It sounds cliche but they don't seem to care who has the best (statistical) game or care about rivalries. They just want to win and they do it a lot so I think that works better than trying to humiliate Lebron at any cost.

Chris Paul is a great floor general but the problem is any star who teams up with LeBron has to take a back seat to LeBron. So since you can't have 2 floor generals and LeBron must be #1, then Paul's best asset is nullified.

A good example is what's happening now. LeBron was praised last year for being able to take GSW to 6 games in last year's Finals by himself and LeBron fans were saying imagine what CLE could do with Irving and Love. Well... this year he has Irving and Love and the team is not doing better, arguably worse, and the whole is less than the sum of its parts.

You're both acting like winning and wanting to dominate the competition individually are mutually exlucsive. They aren't. The Warriors could win with Curry crushing everyone else and there's no reason he shouldn't want that. It also doesn't make sense to think Curry doing so would hurt the Warrior's overall play.

I'm just saying you can't give LeBron credit for getting his stats and being down 1-3 and discredit Curry for not trying to dominate statistically when he's up 3-1. Might be criticizing the wrong person.
