he's been my favourite rookie to watch so far. looks like he has tremendous potential and if he puts it all together will be an absolute beast in the league. really does seem like amare all over again. suns management had been a bit rocky but i love their young core now - very bright future there.

The rich just keep getting richer. The rookie scored a whopping 10 points in overtime to help his team pull out the win. McCaw is already looking like the biggest steal of the second round of the NBA draft based on the preseason, Summer League and comments from his team. On the nights the Dubs rest guys, we'll probably be talking about this UNLV product. Oct 14 - 11:56 PM

He was also the person who sent the game to overtime, with a 30 footer with 1.1 left on the clock.

I knew he was going to be good, you can see it right away.
Sucks that he went to the GSW but they are such a good organization and they draft so well, it sucks but it's true.

I'm not concerned, because I never thought Durant was a good comparison for him. That comp is just setting him up to fail.

I think that the Durant comps are stupid, but just remember; D'angelo Russell was garbage on offense at this time too, and he didn't play defense like Ingram does. A year later, Russell looks like the next great allstar guard.

In other words, it's WAY too early to be concerned with a struggling rookie.

Ingram is younger than most players in this year's McDonald's game. He's more on a high school to NBA level route than a KD kind of rookie year.

Don't look now but Pheonix might have a better core than Minny.

Minny, Phx, Denver and Utah are the future of the WC

As a Suns fans the only things Amare and Chriss has in common are... Pick outside top 5, around 6'10, explosive leapers and play PF.

Amare is more of a true "Power" Forward.... Has broad shoulders, strong upper body... Bullies his way inside for dunks and finishes.

Chriss has more of a built similar to Paul George, Marcus Morris etc. Narrow shoulders, short arms, long neck.... Chriss has a more lateral-movement friendly body... He can slide down to SF but also can slide up C because of his height and jumping ability.

But the skills, athletic ability and confidence he has shown are fantastic.. Seriously can be a star if he keeps working hard.

Certainly not early 20s Shaq.
That Shaq was like a high flyer and letting his opponents feel his size by inflicting them bruises.

Embiid looks unique to me.. 7'2, good quickness and aggressiveness... He looks like a combination of star centers from the past.

No they don't. Minny has KAT, who could turn into the best big man in the league. Wiggins who is going to be an all star. A few games doesn't show much for Phoenix.

I'd take KAT over the entire Phoenix roster combined. So no, they don't have a better core.

Utah is nothing special in terms of future and their young ones potential.

Behind Magic, for sure.

Wiggins isn't going to be an all-star and if he somehow does make it it's going to be because of the show rather than impact.

Lmao do you watch basketball? The kid avg'd 20.7ppg and 2apg. He is def improving so if you think that won't lead to an All star selection in the future I have nothing further to say

Who do the Magic even have that you can claim as having a high potential other than may Aaron Gordon and may be Hezonja? If Payton turns into a starting PG that would be his best case scenario. Utah on the other hand have Gobert, Favors, Hood and Exum all under 23, Gobert is already showing DPOY caliber impact, Favors' production is excellent and Hood is a starter at one of the most shallow positions in the league.

Feels to me like Chriss will win ROY, getting 25 minutes a game and putting up decent stats on an ugly Suns team.
Where's the D?
