I'm trying to understand how Ainge screwed another team in a trade that BOTH teams need to agree to. Lol Ainge didn't screw anybody over via trade, those teams screwed themselves

The Laker trade was agreed to and executed. Payton then refused to report to Boston, who knew he was never going to play for them from the very beginning and was just included for salary purposes.

They used that to take out the main reason we were doing the trade(Banks) for a lesser player/talent in Jumaine Jones.

Banks had even taken a pic with with the Laker organization:

We couldn't really pull out at that point. It was a low move, period.

The Celtics drafted ahead of them and got the better player. Where is the revenge part?

Ainge likely wasn't lying about getting the same guy at #3 they would have taken #1. I'd have taken Tatum over Fultz.

I hate the Celtics, but this is a pretty scummy move from a guy who should be working hard to shed the bad image. Jackson just doesn't come off as likable at all.

Ainge hasn't exactly killed it in the draft, so I'd be wary of who he picked.

Nobody is taking Tatum over Fultz and I was a big Tatum supporter.
