People have been comparing him to Lillard and in the abstract that's accurate but Kyrie's ability to score in the biggest and toughest games is worth a lot and Dame has yet to prove that.

Paul George has all the tools to be a better player but has consistently failed to carry his teams to the next level and is a definite notch below Kyrie as a scorer.

Is #14 where Kyrie belongs?

If it were my list, I’d have Kyrie in the 30s somewhere but as for where I think he actually goes, I’d say #15. I think Draymond still has a broad enough base of support to rally the more analytically minded voters to his side, but after that the people who are low on Kyrie will probably be too splintered.

List of guys who have done that in the history of the NBA: Kevin Durant (x2), Steph Curry (x2), Dirk Nowitski, Larry Bird (x4)

But yeah, Oladipo and Jokic (lol) are better

Oladipo is slightly worse offensively while being much better defensively. I'm not sure whats so laughable about him being ranked ahead

Isaiah Thomas had a better ts% than kyrie with less talent around him

And Kyrie's defensive rating = 103.5, equal to 5th best defensive team. Isaiah that season 108.6, equal to 25th best defensive team. Given that the TS% was 0.025% AND that Isaiah finished 5th in MVP voting that year you're basically proving the point that Kyrie is way underrated on this board.

He carries them offensively and led them to the 1 seed...
Kyrie gegs loads of help offensively and defensively from tatum and brown...hes not the reason the celtics were a better defensive team. He didnt play the playoffs and the celtics still made it to the ecf.

Thats why hes wayyy overrated right now...if your best player goes down and the team doesnt miss a beat in the playoffs (arguably is better) than youre no where near an mvp candidate. Take the oladipo jokic lillard wall etc off their teams for the playoffs and its going downhill not challenging lebron to 7 games
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!
