Raptors in 4 tight games similar to the Cavs-Pistons 2016 First round.

ORL has been THE hottest team out of the lower seeds in the East (even more so than IND) and actually look to be team on the upswing.

They might be a better team than their record indicates because they were very sporadic the first half of the season but since the ASB they seem to have started to figure out who they are and developing into a tougher team. I still pick the Raps to win in 5 (possibly 6).

But anyone who has paid attention will see that ORL has been no pushover. They've beaten everyone from GSW, HOU, MIL, TOR, BOS, PHI etc in the past couple of months. So any team that doesn't come ready to play can find themselves in a bigger dog fight than they expected. I suspect ORL will at least give the Raps one game like that, if not a couple but in the end I think depth, experience and overall talent will prevail for TOR.

They beat raptors without kawhi but got beat by almost 20 pts with him in the lineup

Raps never lost to any team without the player LeBron James on that team. Same goes for everyone else in the east the last seven years.

Yet we’re always supposed to get an upset knockout in the first round. From Indiana, to Milwaukee, to Washington and now to Orlando.

What? Lol are you a new Raptors fan? Let me give you a hint "Wizards, sweep".

That was a 4 seed and 5 seed team, so it was far from an upset.

Regardless Raps should take Orlando in 4 or 5. They have the clearly superior team, Orlando has no playoff experience and their point guards are pretty weak. I mean the Raps backup point guard would probably start in Orlando.

But Orlando is a young and scrappy team, if Ross and Vuciec get hot they could push it to 6.

I was just pointing out you stated incorrect information "Raps never lost to any team without the player LeBron James on that team."

Love how so many people are downplaying this as a regular 1st round game. One of the worst things to start a Playoffs against a team that surged their way into the playoffs compared to... being "middle of the pack" all season long. If the magic were playing at the level they finished the season at consistently over the entire year... this team would be in the top 4 of the east/league.

so... when people just look at the name "Magic" and envisions a trash team over the last 6 or so years... they will be making a huge mistake. I'm more than positive Nurse is not preaching to your team... "Whelp... this is going to be an easy one... let's get it over with and get to the second round"

And if they are sleeping on us... hope we catch em with their pants down. lol

I still remember the last time we played the Magic; Dwight averaged like 20/20 in the playoffs.

This is revenge ! (Or part 2 featuring Vucevic)

Just curious, of the top 4 current teams what team do you think you would have beat out for spot?

I got raps in 5. But not an easy 5. I think the Magic are better then the Nets, Pacers, Pistons, and maybe even the Celtics (without smart).

Kawhi has something to prove this playoffs and he's proved in the past he's virtually unstoppable in the playoffs.

Issac will present Siakam problems. Siakam averages 56% FG against Issac 37%. That'll be a key match up if the Magic want to remain competitve.

Good luck Orlando!

Magic is the most dangerous among the lower tier of the East playoff bracket. Pacers next.

Magic are good. Not underestimating them. Still think the Raps should win every game.
