Well there's a chance KD doesn't play.

If he doesn't, it's definitely a close match-up.

It really isn't. Time will tell who is right.

he will, and will do a good job, but Curry will also get a healthy dose of Kawhi and Siakam when needed.

Remember ?

"He doing work like this because of the system," Durant tweeted about Leonard. "Put Paul George on the Spurs and what would happen?”

"I know you guys like to throw that term around," he continued, "but he's just grown so much as a player. I have to be locked in every play. He can shoot the midrange, he can post up, he can hit the 3, he can dribble and he's just grown so much. Defensively, probably one of the best guys in the league. It's fun when you get that matchup at the small forward. There are so many great guys, but he's one of the guys in that top tier."

Hard to be much more complimentary of an opposing player than that, right?

Asked if he regrets the 2014 tweet -- which he deleted shortly after -- Durant said, "No, I don't. At the time, I didn't even call him a system player. I just said Paul George was better. I like Paul George better as a player. I can be a fan of the game too. One of my guys was debating with me, saying [Leonard] was better than Paul George at the time, and I didn't think so.

"I'm not taking it back. I said the system is the reason why he's out there; Pop put him in great positions to be the player that he is. No, I don't regret it at all. That was three years ago. If he hasn't grown, that's on him. But he's grown as a player, but yeah, I don't take it back."

Said all along that the Warriors would ease past either Bucks or Raps in 5 games. Haven't seen anything to change that. Maybe 6 if I'm being generous.

Warriors have the best player, the best style of play, the best defender, the best coach, the best shooting, they've been resting for what - a week? and Toronto have been slugging it out for an extra two games.

On paper Raps have a better squad if Durant is out. Capable of stealing a game even with Demarcus and KD.

Lowry's upside is mental and psychological.

Prepare to see Gasol put in 1 million pnr plays a game since that is the player on torontos starting lineup that GS can easily attack.
Toronto is going to have to find a way for Siakam to get a bit of run at the 5 since Gasol and Ibaka will probably struggle a lot on the perimeter.
Klay will guard Lowry. Steph will guard Green. Iguodala will guard Kawhi. Draymond will play free safety on Siakam and not guard him at all.
Toronto will be praying that Cousins can play so Gasol has somewhere to match up with. Otherwise the small ball will play him off the floor. FVV will get ate up by livingston/klay unless Toronto sends double teams.

yeah Gasol is an amazing defender but he'll be in tough this series. this is the worst possible matchup for him. the good news is that the raps will be free to double down on curry and klay as needed, without worrying much about the rest.

And Siakam will make them pay for cheating off of him - it took two incredible unique defenders in Embiid and Giannis to slow him down the past two series. Nobody on the warriors has that kind of combo of size and quicks to slow him down like that.

So, I guess the Raps go smaller with Ibaka?
