These are the same fans that ruined a jersey retirement over a money Ellis trade that paved the way for their 15 title

He’s the most protected superstar in the nba. And maybe nba history. Dude is straight getting exposed out there. Can only win with a stacked team or with multiple injuries to the opposing team like 2015
If KD leaves and they max out Klay and Draymond its going to be much much tougher for the Warriors. Especially with Livingston retiring, Boogie likely leaving and Iggy getting old.

Kawhi looked like he had his other leg back tonight... I thought he moved really well and looked close to 100%. Much better than he looked earlier in the series

Wow
I've heard the argument that without some poor officiating that went against the raptors in the second quarter of game 2, they'd have won that game as well. Which, I'm not sure if it's true, and with the caveat that the raptors have benefiited some from officiating, but that's still pretty amazing.
Raps in 4 fo lyfe yo.

Let's playin for 9th!

Re: 2019 NBA Finals Thread #6: Golden State Warriors vs Toronto Raptors | TOR LEADS 3-1
Story of the game is the third-quarter countertrend, where the Raptors turned the tides during the Warriors' hallmark quarter 37-21; thereafter, it was easy to forget who played with more urgency in the first half.
As if four different starters, an upgraded franchise cornerstone, and a coaching-staff changeover weren't enough to convince everyone the Raptors reinvented themselves, their dominance against the Warriors and Bucks should. There's nothing more they can do to legitimize themselves except for finishing off this series, which most reasonable people expect.
It still embitters me that we got backdoor-swept by them—especially after seeing them accentuate the Warriors' beatability this series, which convinces me the Raptors roadblocked our championship—but it's at least extenuated by knowing that we lost to legitimate contenders, not the pretenders we ridiculed during the DeRozan & Casey epoch. Maybe now, people will grant more credit to the Raptors and show less detractions against the Bucks. I just hope that's not our last opportunity for a title anytime soon, which I fear it might be depending on the hemorrhage of valuable players we see during free agency.
I might not have outruled a Warriors comeback with a healthy Durant, except we're probably not going to see the latter before the series ends. Who knows if he'll even play in Game 5? It seems much likelier for him to sit out on Monday than successfully lead his team to a series extension while he's rusty.
Moreover, even while he's a net-positive impact on the Warriors, he doesn't move the needle substantially enough to turn this series around: the Raptors have simply been the more dominant team overall in every game against the Warriors and Bucks—the other-two top-three teams in the league—aside from Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, showing they're too indomitable to lose three-consecutive games. The Warriors have deviated away from their championship habits thanks to their hangover from the last-two titles, and they're not going to re-establish them overnight.
Congratulations in advance to the champions-to-be, as well as Kawhi for all but sealing up his second Finals MVP. I don't know if The Klaw will be the next long-reigning BITW, but he's emerged as a dark horse to win that distinction for at least this season.

if the raptors could have just made a couple shots in the last 5 minutes of game 2 when the warriors didn't have klay this could have been a sweep, the raptors won 3 out of 4 quarters in game 2 that 18-0 run is the only reason the series isn't already over

Awww, wish this was on Sunday so I can enjoy the E3 announcements and then watch some basketball. But more rest for these guys, the better.
GSW might be finished. Physically and mentally - they all looked defeated. Raptors should close this one out on Monday.

Cant wait to see weak Cupcake run away to the North and buy another ring.
Why not get traded to Raptors now lol? Mercenary.

Without KD raps are just plain better than the warriors, and it's not all that close.
With KD, this would be an epic close series.

woken up at 4:30 to follow the 3rd quarter. what a comeback!
I feel sorry for Fred's tooth
Ibaka abusing the warriors like rag dolls in every kind of play was the highlight for me.
happy for Kawhi and Green, justice being served....

A high octane offense that lost two of their top 3 scorers, still got torched by Curry in game 1 and 3. Lets see how the Rappies would do without Kawhi and Siakam or Gasol.
If you're asking me who the Mavs best player is, I'd say Luka. A guy like Delon Wright probably rivals his impact though at this stage in his career. KP may as well if he gets his **** together.
