Should Jerry West turn over the NBA Logo to Kobe?

Logo is fine the way it is. It shouldn't be changed to honor any one player. Yeah sure it's Jerry west, but it isn't to honor the man.

I think the logo should stay as is but wouldn’t mind Kobe at all. I was thinking they could definitely change the NBA Cares logo into his likeness’ silhouette, seeing how his death impacted the globe and he’s a champion for child development. A side profile so there’s no mistaking his head shape lol.

...i don't want to wade too deep into the allegations against Kobe, but using his face for NBA Cares just seems like a terrible idea. "Oh, NBA cares...but not about THAT".

Kobe Bryant and his daughter died Sunday. This is a terrible change in the state of things.
Feel free to argue how it was "good" for some "philosophical" reason, but it sucks hard.

Yes people seem to get confused on this. The image was technically based on a Jerry West photograph but it was/is supposed to represent an every-player not one specifically.

I don't think it should be changed but if they do (with all due respect to Kobe) like some others have already said, the logo should be Michael Jordan, he's most transcendent player of any sport (at least of my generation).

Huh? If anyone is getting banned for this it's news to me. This is part of his legacy. He settled for $2.5 million in a civil suit in a sexual assault case.
