There it is!
Massive move for the Bucks. Yes it is a lot of picks for Jrue. But they needed to upgrade that abysmal backcourt of theirs to be considered serious title contenders and they did that. Just after striking out on Schroeder and CP3, they hit a homerun on the 0-2 pitch.

Jrue will be a terrific fit for the Bucks.

Holiday
DiVincenzo
Middleton
Giannis
Lopez

That's the lineup I'd roll out if I were the Bucks. A defensive nightmare for opposing teams. I'd bet my house on that being the best defensive lineup in the league.

If the Bucks resign Giannis it could be fine since they will be picking so late in the first. The late firsts and (non-existent) swaps wont be brutal.

If Giannis leaves though......they are screwed forever. This really is an all in move.

Why would they give up that much for Holiday?

This is a major overpay, even if Giannis told Milwaukee he's staying. And if he hasn't and they still did this.....wow.....

Lopez, Giannis, Middleton, DDV, Holiday... very nice starting 5 but very little meaningful depth

They should have offered this to HOU for Harden, hell if I'm HOU I'd strongly consider that package.

Because CP3 is 35 and this move is all about keeping Giannis long term

he is the leagues premier G defender and 20/8 player (a s athird option). he has a ton of value.

3 first rounders for a non-All star on an expiring deal. Hard pass.

Bledsoe was already an all defensive guard anyway.

LOL, bleak future when Giannis says dueces.

Unless Giannis in on it and said "do this and I resign"

I’m sure Giannis would want to see the trade lead to more wins in the postseason before committing to re-signing.

Jrue is FA after this season. There’s no way that Holiday alone on a 1-year deal automatically means Giannis re-ups for 5 more seasons.

Bledsoe 2.11 RPM, Holiday 3.11 RPM

If you rate RPM the Bucs aren't getting much better by also losing Hill.

Doesn't make sense for the Bucks

Jrue is a free agent to be so he can walk. And you lose multiple 1st, yikes

Dupp wrote:Exactly what they needed. Great move for the bucks and Giannis. Actual contenders now.

I like the trade, but they were contenders before. Their biggest problem is that Giannis goes poof against certain playoff defense.

That still needs to be addressed for them to truly contend.
