Suns been very good team since last year's bubble.

I mean for me high volume scorers alone don’t have high floor raising skills by themselves. Put them around really solid defensive units and a great primary facilitator or just a great defensive unit alongside an elite anchor they can shoulder the scoring load as intended to by a team’s construct.

Lavine/Beal types have the same issue Booker does. They don’t act like a primary offensive hub, it’s just how a basketball game is operated in totality.

But empty stats? I’d say no but just those types who don’t have two way ability attached on or serious facilitating/floor general skills don’t raise the floor as one would hope to. I mean it’s pretty exhaustive by now on the literary of volume scorers in history and not much else to work with on the offensive end. They themselves don’t achieve high W/L record’s as a one man scoring show vs one man offenses in a can there’s a very clear difference between scoring vs offense.

He's not the best player. CP3's the guy on this team

There is a difference between best player and most valuable player. Booker is the better talent at this stage in their careers. But I would not argue against CP3 being more valuable with the leadership he brings.

who cares anyway? they're both great players clearly. Do people argue about which of Harden/Durant/Irving is the best player on the nets?

There's got to be some middle ground here.

If the Suns fail in the playoffs you'll be calling them pretenders like the Hawks from a few years back.

Don't be so quick to judge a player or team after less than a season...

What Booker did in today's game was one of the best performances I've ever witnessed in NBA playoff history.

He basically had a triple double with no mistakes. Insane!

Be Legendary.

Whenever I need reminding that NBA fans generally don’t have a clue, I think of threads like this.

Low and behold Chris Paul turns up and he's one of the greatest floor raiser's in the modern game and they start winning.

They have other 2 way players like Ayton and Bridges and it has coincided with Phoenix finally starting to win.

Yet Booker gets an all star nod despite being the same empty stats player. He's a ball hog who doesn't play a lick of defense.

I think he is at best, the 4th best player on the Sun's.
