And Giannis wins a ring with his original team without ever leaving unlike Lebron.

And Giannis's organization did a much better job of finding good players to put around him. I'm a huge hater of the Heatles but LeBron deserved better than what Cleveland was giving him. LeBron led some trash Cavs rosters to places they never should have been.

This. When you realized Lebron been to the finals 10 times with some of the talents he had, he is definitely a goat leader.

Giannis team has talent but it's the playoffs so do the rest of the teams. Mad respect for Giannis not using a cheat code and winning a legit championship

Khris Middleton. He just put up better numbers than Wade did in the 2012 and 2013 Finals.

Do you think middleton is better than wade? Lolol

The Dwyane Wade that existed by the time they got to the 2013 playoffs? Certainly. Absolutely. Wade averaged 15.9 ppg on 49.8% TS during the 2013 playoffs. Even Jrue Holiday put up better numbers than that this postseason and with much better defense.

Bosh had zero points in game 7 of a finals. Holliday and Middleton can definitely match and surpass his his Miami production.

As much as I like holiday. Bosh was the better player

I don’t like super teams that players to collude to build. Super teams that are built organically , I don’t have a problem with.

No one is scared of Giannis lol. Is he LBJ? Kareem? Duncan? Hakeem? All those guys won championships when their opponents were at their best. Giannis didn't do that and until he does, he doesn't deserve to be put in that conversation.

KD couldn't beat the guy that 'doesn't deserve to be put in that conversation' even though he had another MVP level player next to him... Is your argument that KD needs Harden AND Kyrie just to beat the guy that 'doesn't deserve to be put in that conversation'? Is that what you're getting at?

How far does Giannis get if Holliday's not playing and Middleton is super hobbled?

And all it required was the Nets and the Lakers to be decimated by injury. A very important lesson for other stars to learn: if your opponent is compromised by injury then you don't need a 'super team' to win a championship.

Didn't they trade for Holliday last off-season? What is the formula to determine whether or not a team is a super team?

This fact can't be ignored.

And it's so tired and lame to try and discredit the Bucks title. "Bwah, if the Nets woulda, blah, blah, blah .."

Well they didn't and that's all that matters until they do.

Congrats, Milwaukee.

It's an incredible achievement no doubt but let's be clear, he never actually had to face a superteam on his way to the championship. I know injuries are part of the game but he likely wouldn't have been taken out by a healthy superteam, which to me undermines the whole argument in the first place.

If only LeBron undercutted Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili played with a grade 2 hamstring and missed half of the 2007 finals

Lebron fans in shambles. I love it. It's not about who had better teammates. It's all about not running away from first sign of adversity and staying true to the challenges in front of you. That's what sports is all about.

Well sure, but it cuts both way when people argue that a win here makes all the other championships less relevant. If people are going to start making comparison between the relative worth of championship then it's fair game to point out the details and inconsistencies.

I don't know what you're getting at... Yes, KD would beat Giannis if his super team was healthy... yes, 3 top 15 players will almost always beat a team with only 1 top 25 player. But let me ask you this: why do KD, Harden, and Kyrie feel like they need to play together? Their personalities and social media habits tell you a lot about the psychology of these guys and I'm not a fan. It's the equivalent of div-I guys beating an intramural team and then celebrating it. Congrats, I guess.

Congrats, Milwaukee.

I mean, Giannis literally just had the easiest path to an NBA championship that I can recall. If you want to praise Giannis and the Bucks for a hard-fought series and beating the Suns fine. But this isn't that thread. Read the title. "Giannis just made a lot of these nba stars look pathetic."
