Yea, but that's not how Argentinians pronounce his name. Many Argentinians have Italian great-grandparents, but using the Italian pronunciation is pretty uncommon in South America. Though they do make some exceptions with names like "Chiara" which they tend to pronounce the Italian way.

Ezequiel Lavezzi was pronounced Lavetsi aswell tho

tbh I've heard scottish people, here in Scotland, make up their own pronunciation for Scottish names that are completely contrary to the rules (I was about to give an example but 5 sentences in to trying to explain gaelic naming conventions and vowel stresses I gave up)

My ex was argentine-spanish with a polish last name that they pronounced in keeping with how spanish people would say the word.

given all the different stress and pronunciation rules I think it's really just "it depends".

He's definitely better than Kevin Knox

I commend Facu for wanting another shot in the NBA over the rumored $9mill, 3 year deal with Real Madrid, but he's just not good enough to be an impact player in the NBA.

Sure he could get minutes on some NBA teams, but he'll never start, and would be lucky to get as many minutes (or chances) as he did with the Nuggets.

I will be interested to see if they play to his strengths, he is not a walk it up and set up the offense kind of guy. He is best used as a change of pace to come in and run with the bench unit while gambling on defense.

in the NBA he's hardly a starter and pound for pound considered one of the worst in the NBA

the difference in talent level is staggerring

Luka was 19 at the time.
