You are right we don't know if he's faking but for the first time ever I am actually not believing a player when they say they are injured.

My guess would be that there's a kernel of truth to it, but it's something that 99% of players would play through in an elimination game

If this is his decision, then that is quite shameful. However, I wonder if the Nets told him not to play because he hasn't established any chemistry with the team.

He generally doesn't struggle against pressure defense. It's when teams completely sag off him or he is match up with a physical specimen like trae young right under the basket that he struggles the most. If anything Simmons might have disrupted Bostons defense because he would be the one perimeter player that they would treat completely differently.

Sure, cuz Simmons has always done so well against Boston in the playoffs before :lol:
