IIRC he said this after winning game 5 against La. He said theyre winning game 6 too..............and they didnt

still a terrific effort tho. They completely collapsed against La in game 6

I'll gladly take Tatum over 32 year old Jimmy. While I respect Jimmy's game, I have observed him not giving the game everything he has every game, like Tatum proved he does this season. 24 > 32

Epic run and I love Jimmy but these guarantees rarely come true. He was wrong about the 2020 finals too, and I wonder how much this sense of bravado backfires. He sounds like Ewing with his Knick title guarantees in the 90s.

Better to stay humble and be present IMO, commit to the process, and not promise outcomes that cannot be promised.
