Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Very odd.og15 wrote:zshawn10 wrote:[Stephen A. Smith] Kyrie Irving last season would conduct his own team practices after Steve Nash
That's pretty weird

Sorry King fans.
Side note: I'm not sure if there's a team desperate enough to deal with Kyrie off the floor despite what he does the rare occasions he actually plays.
If Simmons is there without Kyrie and Kevin Durant I expect him to sit out for the rest of his contract.TheNewEra wrote:Texas Chuck wrote:I'm curious if a Kyrie exit leads to KD also asking out since they came as a package. But it goes to the downside of assembling superstars. Many of these guys are difficult to deal with on multiple levels and they went from 3 to now maybe 1 or 0 in short order.
It seems likely since KD wanted the Nets because of Irving . I’m not sure what’s the friendship between Simmons and Durant but even then if they are ok with each other it doesn’t change Ben Simmons noted back issues. For whatever people believe about Simmons mental issues the back injury could continue to be a major issue longterm and lowers his value.

But I'm not sure if Heat Culture can straighten him up lol

Pelicans trade:
Jonas Valanciunas
Devonte' Graham
Garrett Temple (waived)
Willy Hernangomez (waived)
Naji Marshall
for Kyrie (opted into final year of deal)
Kyrie Irving / Kira Lewis Jr
CJ McCollum / Grand Theft Alvarado
Brandon Ingram / Trey Murphy III
Zion Williamson / Herb Jones
Larry Nance Jr. / Jaxson Hayes
Ben Simmons / Patty Mills
Seth Curry / Devonte' Graham / Cam Thomas
Joe Harris / Naji Marshall
Kevin Durant / Blake Griffin
Jonas Valanciunas / Nic Claxton / Day'Ron Sharpe

You've got to think Kyrie opts in for 22/23 before the June 29 deadline
I'm thinking the same. It's probably the best move for both sides. He could recoup a lot of value just by playing an incident free season and hit FA with a lot more leverage than he has right now. I'm sure the Nets would love to get one more season out of him before having to make any decisions about the future too.
