Desperate? We’ve resisted the Wall rumors, the Hornets rumors, the Knicks rumors, etc…Pelinka made it clear they have no intention of giving up a first round pick in any of those garbage offers. Kryie is a different animal altogether, well worth the risk.

Then the Nets should simply hang up the phone. There's no point in taking on Westbrooke if the net result for them is the same as keeping Irving. The Lakers want Irving and don't want another wasted year with LeBron and AD? Great, Pay the kings ransom or go ahead and keep Westbrook.
