Won't ever forgive the NBA for the top75.
Dwight out, is the greatest injustice since Isaiah's absence from the dream team.
He had the personal accolades, the prime, the peak, the ring(even as a backup), good longevity.
Inexcusable.

Now I'm curious what numbers prime LeBron and Shaq would have averaged playing there.

Wonder if present Shaq would put up 20 and 15 there?

Speaking as someone who has dominated far more than that, I can tell tell you it's ridiculously fun.

Dwight had more people watching than I did, though, which probably adds a lot to the fun factor.

Speaking as someone who has dominated far more than both you and Dwight. I too can also confirm that the fun is quite plentiful.

I did it against tougher competition though which probably adds a lot to the fun factor.

I can only imagine what his career would've turned out to be if he honed any part of his NBA game to play like that in his prime.

Great to see him having fun and dominate.

It's not cool to go dunk on 8 year olds.

He's 36, he's a little old for that.

It kind of loses its luster after awhile once the hormones shut up around 30.

3.He lost his second game. 23P/9R/10A. 38%FG
4.some other players hardcore fans might know(I don’t though ) also play in this league.
Troy Williams(NCAA Indiana), Diamond Stone(2016 40th pick), Deyonta Davis(2016 31th pick). Williams and Davis are his teammates.
5.He is treated like a rockstar here. All over the news, not just sports news. ALL THE NEWS. Even non-sports fans know he is coming to Taiwan. The league was not popular at all, attendance per game was less than 1K. And Dwight now sold all the available tickets out till march 2023(15K per game).
6.Taiwan people are not good at play basketball, but we love NBA. Dwight definitely would enjoy his time here. And there’s rumor they are trying to get Melo over here.

Good looking out... please keep us posted, an "in house" perspective is always nice to follow!

I was wondering why that arena was packed. Seems like no one is at CBA games. Dwight was a great investment.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Yeah man I bet you and every dude in NCAA or or in highschool or AAU would dominate just like this.

Me…. I’m happy for Dwight and I wish I could dominate the 24 hour or Lifetime fitness courts anywhere on earth like that just once… once

But that’s just me - you… you think Dwight looks horrible for his age and skill set playing internationally against pros that WOULD dominate damn near every local gym - y’all kill me with this double disrespect- he isn’t an nba player anymore

I love to see people getting paid to do something they enjoy and also love seeing the fans enjoying themselves - win win for everyone - thanks for insight

That's gross. She figured it out and probably felt violated on some level.

I mean, I'll laugh at stuff like that as much as anyone, but after the initial joke, when he doubled down ("it starts with the D"), that was unprofessional and toeing the line towards harrassment.

Just the wrong place and time, you know? Ok, I'm off my high horse...

as gen-z folks say "tellme ur a lib witout telling me your a lib"

I think this was a inside joke…

(I know I’m horrible)

I am a huge fan of NBA since Penny Hardaway was the most popular player in the league. (Feel old by saying this…)
But I have not watched a full NBA game this season, not interested enough in the current league. I might start to watch in the playoff.
But I watched the two full games that Dwight played in Taiwan. I have not watched even a minute of this league before. And I find it extremely entertaining. I am curious to know how a famous NBA player would perform against Taiwanese player.
The first game is extremely fun and exciting. A super human out of nowhere, underperformed in first half, fans disappointed, down by 25. Second half, shoot threes, monster alley-oop, a block force the game to OT(followed by Mutombo gesture). And then wins the game with 38P/25R/9A/4B.

Can not write a better script.

The second game not so entertaining though.

I think he make a good decision playing in Taiwan tha go China , to be honest no talk about Taiwan basketball before he join, it is well worth it to invest another retire superstars to promote Taiwan . Right now yiu can hear his news all over the world , I never see any NbA players play in overseas to have this Kimd of impact nit only for the game , he is very entertaining not only playing basketball 台灣加油
