I live in Taiwan, some information you guys might interested.
1. The pay is not bad. We heard it is more than 300K per month.
2. He is not as dominant as I thought he would be. I thought it would be at least prime Shaq like. Just two or three dunks in the first game. His team came back from 25 points deficit and win in the OT. Not easy at all, it definitely harder than he might think. He looked gassed after the game.
3.He lost his second game. 23P/9R/10A. 38%FG
4.some other players hardcore fans might know(I don’t though ) also play in this league.
Troy Williams(NCAA Indiana), Diamond Stone(2016 40th pick), Deyonta Davis(2016 31th pick). Williams and Davis are his teammates.
5.He is treated like a rockstar here. All over the news, not just sports news. ALL THE NEWS. Even non-sports fans know he is coming to Taiwan. The league was not popular at all, attendance per game was less than 1K. And Dwight now sold all the available tickets out till march 2023(15K per game).
6.Taiwan people are not good at play basketball, but we love NBA. Dwight definitely would enjoy his time here. And there’s rumor they are trying to get Melo over here.

Me…. I’m happy for Dwight and I wish I could dominate the 24 hour or Lifetime fitness courts anywhere on earth like that just once… once

I am a huge fan of NBA since Penny Hardaway was the most popular player in the league. (Feel old by saying this…)
But I have not watched a full NBA game this season, not interested enough in the current league. I might start to watch in the playoff.
But I watched the two full games that Dwight played in Taiwan. I have not watched even a minute of this league before. And I find it extremely entertaining. I am curious to know how a famous NBA player would perform against Taiwanese player.
The first game is extremely fun and exciting. A super human out of nowhere, underperformed in first half, fans disappointed, down by 25. Second half, shoot threes, monster alley-oop, a block force the game to OT(followed by Mutombo gesture). And then wins the game with 38P/25R/9A/4B.

Can not write a better script.

The second game not so entertaining though.

I think he make a good decision playing in Taiwan tha go China , to be honest no talk about Taiwan basketball before he join, it is well worth it to invest another retire superstars to promote Taiwan . Right now yiu can hear his news all over the world , I never see any NbA players play in overseas to have this Kimd of impact nit only for the game , he is very entertaining not only playing basketball 台灣加油
