Saint Peters was at least decent, top 100 kind of team.

Fairleigh Dickinson is legit terrible by all metrics. Legit rank 300 team with the 4th worst defense in the country.

Painter is such a horrific coach come March, it is exactly quite impressive the horrible resume he is putting up.

March Madness is by far the best thing in sports. Every year it never fails to live up to the hype.

when was the last time top teams were unbeatable? you don't really see dominant NCAA teams anymore. the closest we got was Zaga a couple of years ago and they ended up getting trounced in the championship game by Baylor.

It's going to be very interesting once the NBA officially lowers the age limit. It could help college basketball because not every 5 or 4 star high school player in going to be drafted and I still don't believe all of them will go to the g-league or overtime elite either. College basketball could go back to how it was before the one and done.

i don't think they are gonna do that anymore now that they want more players funneled into the GL tbh, but we'll see.

You have less power house teams, the talent gap between teams isn't as big anymore and a lot of the smaller schools have been playing together longer. The G-league siphoning talent probably doesn't help either, kids are going to the G-league now in their junior years of HS.

This is the worst loss in NCAA history. FDU is trash and didn’t even win their conference tournament. Embarrassing

It's because the guard crop sucks this year. Those 22 year old NBA second round career backup guards are the ones that win NCAA games. A stud lotto guard who starts day 1 also works. There isn't one this year.

Down goes Purdue! March Sadness for the Boilermakers!

Duke’s road to the FF just got a whole lot easier.

Honestly, if Cronin can't navigate to a title this year, it'll be sad times, esp if Bona returns.

This is Jaquez' year.

FDU had a very deliberate game plan on defense, they basically double or triple teamed Edey every time he touched ball. He was flustered almost the whole game, brilliantly executed.

As a filthy Euro I won't ever get college hoops. That game just now with the 16th seed beating the 1st seed was nothing to write home about, how can a team like Purdue with a slow lumbering center be considered one of the best team in college? That dude legit doesn't stay on the floor for 2 mins max in the NBA, so I don't get why the other team just didn't spam high pick n roll. Then again both teamS lacked any outside shooting. I'm just not impressed watching such low level basketball.
