People make too much of his contact when he's still THIS good. He's not like Harden or Westbrook who's skills have clearly declined but still have super max deals. Dame is coming off the best year of his entire career with no signs of rapid decline.
Fair enough. Small guards are rarely All-NBA material at age 35, but we can go with the assumption Damian Lillard will age gracefully a la Stephen Curry or a (when he's healthy) Chris Paul. We can start here:
Portland gets: Jaylen Brown, Danilo Gallinari and a 2025 first-round pick
Boston gets: Damian Lillard and Nassir Little
The deal is based on Brown agreeing to a long-term deal with Portland.
