BTW, The L2M report does NOT say that Nurse should have been granted the timeout. It says exactly the opposite.

This is part of the Correct No Call explanation of Hart stealing the ball from Maxey at 23.7:
An attempt to call a timeout by Coach Nurse (PHI) during this play is neither recognized nor granted by the officials; the timeout request is simultaneous to Hart making contact with the ball and PHI not having possession.

Yes, the report says that the no calls on Brunson grabbing the Maxey's jersey and Hart making contact with Maxey and causing him to fall were incorrect. But saying the report states Nurse should have gotten the timeout is completely wrong.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

You know what's funny - of our three playoff opponents these past two years two of them treated us like a joke and one took us dead serious. Didn't work out so well for the Cavs last year and the Sixers need to get it together.

My hatred for the Heat will always be like that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry dates Janeane Garofalo and realizes that he can't date somebody like him because he hates himself. You guys handed us our ass very professionally.

Sixers were called for 4 fouls in the 4th quarter including the intentional foul against OG to end the game.
The Knicks were called for 6 fouls in that same period.

Yup, refs wanted the Knicks to win this one. I hear they pulled out some magnets for those 3s at the end and also used magnets to keep Embiid glued to the ground rather than jump for a rebound. Technology today....

I wonder why the league doesn't mention Maxey clearly shoving Josh Hart out of the way while running towards Lowry for the inbound pass. The 2 obvious fouls I saw were that and Brunson grabbing Maxey's jersey afterward. Josh Hart with the lower body contact causing Maxey to fall is iffy and a play on IMO.

...BUT, it's still such a typical issue for this team, and was an AWFUL play by Lowry. He rushed to get the ball when nobody was ready, and then forced a pass instead of calling a timeout. I swear, the second someone puts a Sixers any idea of them being a savy vet disappears. He got lucky in the Heat play-in that there was only .3 on the clock and time right out on his inbounds turnover.

Don't roll your eyes too much, it will stay that way.

Here's Hart taking the ball and Maxey not in possession before Nurse is calling TO... :o
