Man, don't let one bad play in game make you believe that most play ins, since its creation, have been good.

Have they been? Don't think any team that's made it in from the 9/10 spot has contributed to the story of the playoffs since its inception. If you want intense basketball just start the playoffs earlier.

Ratings wise it has been good, and it has been very popular in my opinion.

I'll admit I thought it was stupid when it was announced but I like it. And I like it for a reason I didn't anticipate. Teams 3-7 are more reluctant to try to tank for favorable playoff matchup since it is easy to lose in a single elimination tournament.

I keep going back to Warriors-Clippers. If there was no playin Warriors aren't playing Curry,Butler or Dray in that game because they want the 7 seed.

They kill the flow of the game, but so does terrible officiating, which is why challenges are a thing. If the NBA's officiating didn't blow so hard, they wouldn't be a necessary evil.

They still have time, Trae isn’t an overrated bum like Murray, who they traded first (not a bad idea) but they have to admit that he is not a superstar and move on from him.
