I don’t think it was Thompson’s fault here but holy cow this kid needs some anger management. Not even Draymond was this crazy in just his 2nd yr in the league.

The Tyler Herro one especially is truly unhinged.

Its not dirty but I feel Thompson was a little out of control. If you’re compelled to blame someone I would pick him.

Ofc?
Dray shoves Amen into the space under Butler. It's clearly on Green who has made his career from dirty plays and "guarding" illegally i.e commiting uncalled fouls off the ball

The shove or push was form Adams not green. Green's leg was out and tripped him...the whole domino's started with Adams...who just happens to be not just one of the biggest guys in the league but still somehow freaky strong even for his huge size.

Adams is being face-guarded plus both hands (a foul, mind you) by Podz. his hand goes in Amen's general direction but he doesn't make any contact and he def isn't pushing Amen - Dray is.

This just shows me he is just a dirty player and will have 50 more plays like that by the end of his career.

He allowed Herro to get in his head. He definitely let his emotions get the best of him that night. Herro was cooking him all night and let him know about it. Amen let it trigger him and he shouldn't have.

There is a world of difference between that and accidentally falling into Butler. The fact that there are so many Warriors fans running with this 'Amen is dirty and he definitely meant to hurt Butler' narrative **** crazy.

No one - complete accident. Things happen in games. It was a physical game.

And the poll has more than twice as many people blaming Draymond than Thompson. Not to mention there are still people saying Draymond pushed him, when there is literal video evidence of Draymond holding him back, which is crazy. People are biased, water is wet, news at 11. What are you gonna do.

what literally and immediately caused it was Thompson pushing forward. but he's only using that force because Draymond is holding him off and when he breaks through it looks like the excessive contact is because he's falling more than anything. i don't fault any individual player here, but it is unfortunate.

I hear you but that doesn't mean you can't challenge people posting their biased takes in a public thread. I wouldn't dream of venturing into Warriors' subreddit or other Warriors only spaces to call out things I think are crazy, but in a thread like this, I will from time to time.

No no, I wasnt commenting on you calling out the biased takes against Amen -- I agree with you -- I was calling out the biased takes against Draymond myself. More just commiserating that people are biased, and theres not much you can do about it.

It's so interesting because this is what I also see, and I'm a pretty hard " anti-Draymond" guy, as in I'm quick to blame him. I think he's brought a lot of it onto himself, but I just don't see how people can blame him for this one. He's trying to box Thomson out. His hands are not in a position to push and his eyes are up on the ball the whole time. I'm just not seeing it at all.

No one's fault, just unfortunate. This series has been very physical unfortunately something like this was bound to happen.
