Nobody in the entire NBA history can accomplished what LeBron has done in 2007 and 2018 playoffs with his lottery squad. It's way more competitive in comparison to what your Knicks accomplished in the last 25 years in the playoffs, 2 Finals berth and 6 playoffs series win in 2 years by LeBron over 0 Finals berth and 5 playoffs series win by the Knicks in 25 years so take your non competitive nature argument in the thrash. Let it go dude and stop derailing the thread of the dad of your Knicks squad with your LeBron hate.
yawn he played in a weak east and still didn't win until he team hopped to play with Hall of Famers.2nd behind Jordan my arse. Hey but I think Hali will gut it out in game six

Wait was that a serious comment about “hopefully Hali won’t have Lebrons finals record?”  I assumed that’s gotta be sarcastic. Otherwise one of the more idiotic things I’ve read on here. Hali would pray to sweet heavens nightly to even sniff anywhere close to Lebrons finals record

Can we all agree Siakam is the best player on the Pacer's?

This is similar to the Nuggets championship run with Jokic and Murry. Murray and Haliburton made all those amazing game winning shots but Siakam and Jokic were the steady hand that gave you good high volume production game after game. Theres a reason Siakam won the conference MVP.

Don’t think anyone ever questioned that Jokic is the better player and the best player on nuggets during their playoff run. Whoever thought different is insane.

There's only a slim few of those, 4 or 5 maybe. Some overzealous fans and the talking heads went back and forth every other game. A subpar finals doesn't change what he's done for most of the season and playoffs. Against the historically greatest defense/teams in history, who's main objective was to stop him.

He's already beat OKC more than the entire Eastern Conference combined, losers.

The over exaggerations about how bad he is comical and filled with salt.

He was voted NBA 3rd team 2 years in a row. He's broke assist to turnover and efficiency records that have stood for 30+ years in the last few seasons. Maybe the most historic clutch playoff run in history. Besides very few bad games in the playoffs, he has been pretty freaking good.

For the 2024-25 season. Advanced stats he is in the top 10 of most categories.
Top 5 of most offensive advanced stats. (Jokic, SGA, Giannis consistently leading 1, 2, 3 in that order in most adv metrics)
OWS 3rd (1st Jokic, 2nd SGA)
WS 6th
BPM 7th
VORP 4th
OBPM 5th
LEBRON 5th

I hate a lot of those metrics like WS and BPM/VORP but your overall point is correct. Huge overreaction and not really fair to capture his value from scoring alone

Plus the Thunder have been embarrassing elite players all season

People can’t wait for their Stephen A. Smith hot take, moment in the sun on the General Board.

I'm usually amazed when Hali scores. His release is super awkward, along with his handle. I think once players get accumulated to his body movements, he's easy to guard and even shut down, which is a big reason why he doesn't score consistently. So nights like game 5 don't surprise me.

YAWN ...
Spoiler:
comparing a player team...when you should be comparing him the great players. Knicks aint calling themselves "King". 10th best (at the most) doesn't warrant a comparison to the GOAT

Quite a few MVPs and superstars on that list. And there are a few games missing. Like Durant going 7-33 from the field with 1 Assist and 7 Turnovers in 2016. Pippen going 2-16 in the 99 finals. Someone else already mentioned Reggie Miller going 1-16 in the 2000 finals.

I remember Ewing only scoring 1 pt in a playoff game. I was there. Being a Pacer fan it was pretty funny. They had t-shirts the next game that said "Even I Could Score 1 Point". This was peak Ewing, he was a monster.

In game 3 of the ECF vs the Pacers in 1994, Ewing scored 1 point on 0-10 from the field and 1-4 from the FT line. His team lost by 20 points.

Yeah I also remember a few years ago Inside the NBA giving Barkley some crap about a horrible performance and he just asked "How many points did I have the next game". That's the mindset of a franchise player, they all have bad games, it just doesn't impact their confidence for the future.

He is not a superstar, and some folks need to stop making excuses for him. If someone like Tatum had a performance like that, the same people would be calling for his head.

I guess all of Tyrese's supposed "aura" failed to get him one single field goal lmao.

There’s like what; maybe 10 people on the entire GB that might call him a superstar? Possibly?

Lotta energy railing against some imagined group of people that think Haliburton’s on some level he’s not.

Guy’s peaked at All NBA 3rd. Tatum by contrast has 4x consecutive 1st Team berths, so a consensus top 5 player by the NBA media. Shouldn’t be surprising Tatum would be held to a higher standard because he’s universally recognized as a better player.
