Re: Westbrook became upset with LeBron being a fake person
I can see LeBron being a bit "fake" to guys that he doesn't really consider part of his circle.
But at the end of the day Russ just wasn't a great fit in LA and had declined considerably by the time he got there, and that's why it was rocky. Pair MVP Russ with LeBron and I doubt they have much issue getting along.

Which he 100% did not deserve, so I'm not sure that's the play here. Jordan has his strengths and his arguments relative to Lebron, but this isn't really one of them. It's really more evidence of how much SPG influenced voters in the 80s, and a somewhat limited understanding of defensive value at the time.
LeBron was physically bigger so rebounding is a given.
And? It's still relevant to their impact on the game.
The aesthetic of Jordan's game pleased people more. The narrative of his career arc was wonderful, but he also had more support from management than Lebron did in Cleveland, and both of things combined to help people like him more, as did the media environment of the time and things like Barcelona. That was a first, letting pros play against amateurs at the Olympics. And in an expansion-heavy league filled with teams which mostly weren't as organized as the Chicago offense, it's hard to really treat the competition he faced as the same as what Lebron faced... which is an argument often used against someone like Bill Russell, who has nearly double as many titles as Jordan and won 8 in a row.
So there's a lot of disingenuous argumentation at times from the pro-Jordan side who just don't WANT to respect Lebron. One might still land on MJ's side based on certain arguments, or not. I don't really have a dog in that fight. But when I see bad-faith arguments from either side, it's frustrating.

He's so fake, you can't stop thinking or talking about him.
Look who’s talking lmao!!!! You defend bron bron like he is your family member or something. Does he know you fight for him on here? Double post lol clown
It's a little funny that you chose to avoid what he said and deflect back towards him. It's OK if player consumes a lot of your thoughts. It's just weirder and more unhealthy when it comes from a position of hate.

This definitely is a hilarious response. As someone who hasn't watched a movie in almost 12 years (except for language learning purposes), I find it strange that he wouldn't just admit he hasn't seen it.
Lebron in interviews and on podcasts is a walking meme.

Now, I don’t mean to derail everything I just said by saying this but…I don’t think you can say LeBron had a better career. Mike had a better career. Unquestionably. No one has compared to that level of sheer dominance.
Yeah I shouldn't add to it, but if we are talking simply about in-era dominance both Mikan and Russell exceed Mike. Now a case can be made that Mikan played in too different a league to compare him to Mike, but Russell's career bumps into Kareem's. And his defensive impact exceeds Mike's total impact. Again, speaking simply in-era and ignoring longevity(which we have to do with both he and Mike in a comparison with Lebron because he's not just putting up empty longevity, he's got more all-NBA level seasons than either of the other guys have total seasons.)
The case for Mike boils down to thinking scoring is the most important thing and of course 6-0. But I'd have Lebron going to the Finals for a decade straight with far weaker teams as more impressive than Mike winning 6 titles with a roster that won 55 games without him and was a bad call from at least an ECF appearance.
But this is a major digression. The point is whomever one believes is GOAT(and we can't ignore Kareem or Duncan in these conversations), the petty little criticisms to prop up a different guy is so silly and pointless (I am aware you are not engaging in such).
But its hard for me to see a case for anyone against Lebron save perhaps Russell. Peak play? Nobody leaves Lebron behind. Longevity? Nobody matches him, not even Kareem or Mailman long the gold standards. Team success? Check. Individual brilliance? Check. Statistical production? He's putting records maybe forever out of reach in a lot of categories.
The only "knock" on Lebron is that with some undermanned Cavs teams he couldn't beat the most stacked dynasty of all-time. Because without that, he has as many titles as Mike only with a bunch more Finals appearances on top of it. Oh yeah and he beat that team as well...So Mike's main argument falls flat.
How did Russell’s career bump into KAJ’s?

He retired the season before KAJ was drafted. They never played at the same time, but they missed one another by a single season. Considerable overlap in nature of game, league strength, etc, etc.

This.
Which means any argument that Russell played only against plumbers falls flat. And in fact when you consider how small the league was, the percentage of his games played against all-time greats is staggering. I mean the percentage of games facing Wilt alone. People like to dismiss Russell thinking he played before modern basketball when ironically Russell and the Celtics essentially created modern basketball and defensive principles Russell created against the wish of his coaches are still the very foundation of defense to this day.
When you talk about standing on the shoulders of NBA giants, the guy at the base is William Russell.

I think the joke is a lot of people don't consider the third movie to be anywhere close to the same quality as the first two.

Can’t believe am siding with a career loser in Russ in this one. LeBron is very much unlikable that way and could indeed be fake. LOL

• During a Lakers team event where Will Smith came to speak, LeBron and AD suddenly walked out before he arrived. Minutes later, they returned acting overly friendly—LeBron dominated the talk, asking questions and quoting movie lines.
If this was true what was the point?

Where did I say it bothers me? The irony is you called out someone for apparently being a hypocrit in another post yet you have done exactly that.
You make plenty of negative comments about Lebron so sure sounds like you guys have plenty in common.
So id be applying what you said to him back to you then aye

If my son has had health issues, is medically cleared and his dreams and aspirations are to play basketball at the highest level, I'll try to help him as much as I can. Every father would do that
No caring father would watch their son fail in college and think the NBA is a good idea.
Helping his son would be sending him back to college or into a foreign league to gain experience.
And during that time they would assess whether their son is good enough for the NBA, or whether their son will be ridiculed for nepotism forever.
Austin Rivers proved himself in college (!5.5ppg) before entering the NBA, that is not the case with Bronny.
And it makes even less sense just after a cardiac arrest, when there as no logical reason to rush Bronny into the NBA, since his father clearly was not retiring last season... because that's what this is really about, LeBron wanting Bronny in the NBA for LeBron.
Are you a father? How old are you?
Am I allowed to give out personal information like that? I don't see anybody else saying their age or family dynamic...

I do not know anything about Bronny’s specific condition and the risk of a second medical episode, but given the demands of the sport, if the risk of another cardiac arrest is moderately to considerably higher with strenuous exercise, I would err on the side of caution with that one. That is speaking as a father. (And no, I won’t give my age if the guy asks since that is a little weird and not really relevant)

Westbrook wasn't working. Thats on him not anyone else. With that being said, Lebron is full of it, always has been. Not the first time Lebron yields his power, wasn't the last.
I truly wonder what Stephen A has on Lebron for him to still have a career.

Why does Stephen A need something on LeBron to have a career?
He made awful remarks towards LeBron's parenting, but he didn't exactly commit a crime.

I agree with you.
The comment was made more toward how much power Lebron has and how much he dislikes him vs what Stephen A has said or done.

Re: Westbrook became upset with LeBron being a fake person
I have no reason to doubt anything Westbrook has said but he’s probably the worst messenger for this. I’m sure it’s really hard to be lebron’s teammate. You’re always at fault if his teams aren’t as successful as they're expected to be and are in consistent trade rumors/speculation the entire time you’re with him. With all that being said, Westbrook was terrible on the lakers and was bringing down the whole team.
