Don't think he'd fit well with the Lakers. Wolves could use a few minutes from him though.

Delusional. But it is what it is.

exactly what this is. He was hoping he'd be playing more and on a playoff contender as well. Can't blame him and kudos for the Clippers allowing him to seek greener pastures for the final several months of his career. Bucks, Nuggets, Knicks, Wolves, and others should all bring him in.

OMG yes, and that would maximize Conley and keep him fresh, both of them would keep each other fresh and longlasting.

Is this a sign of a major blowup?
I think Harden and Kawhi could be the missing pieces to some team.
Harden in Houston
Kawhi in Detroit

CP3's +/- was -16 with the Clippers. His on/off was -11.6.

Wouldn't be a bad backup seeing we're thin there, but I don't see him coming back for another round.

Was suspect at highest on the move in the first place.. best wishes for CP3, though. I hope he goes to a better team to finish out his career and not just go home for good.
And, this should be the beginning of the changes. I expect more over the next month or so. Team remains in shambles right now.

I never understand this attitude from Laker fans. Your team has won all the titles and the little brother clippers haven't won anything. Why would you 'celebrate' them continuing to suck? It's not some heated rivalry, lol.

#1 Lakers got exposed already by OKC. Not a real contender.
#2 OKC is his only option if he wants a championship.
#3 Denver probably his 2nd best option, but OKC still the favorites.
The same way Chicago exposed Miami in 2011 in the regular season?
The point isn't that the Lakers are contenders, the point is that leaning on a game played in November without the Lakers' 2nd or 3rd best player and a bunch of new pieces on the team vs the current champions who have plenty of team continuity is probably a bit premature.
And to clarify, not saying there's a chance the Lakers are better than OKC, what I'm saying is dubbing the Lakers as having been "exposed" in November is very premature.

There wasn't gonna be anything graceful about cp3's exit from the NBA.

CP3 hates losing. He probably said something and LAC threw him out as retaliation

I WAS SHOCKED. he looked like an old nobody at the park in a pickup game against pros
i had to double check the jersey. it was 3. he even LOOKED old. i said "this is his last year"
the wording is weiiiird. "we are sending him home" sounds like something a caregiver says about your grandpa walking around the neighborhood in his pj's
He already announced that a few weeks ago

CP can make the right reads, but his defense breaking down abilities are vastly diminished

Clippers fans on Reddit having a mini Luka-leaving-Dallas moment. Some saying this is the lowest point of the franchise and that they're done.
I'm sure Chris cussed out the locker room but he's also right on every count. Lots of toxic power grabbers in that locker room and FO it seems.
I don't see him resigning with anyone. Lakers don't need him so he'll be buried on the bench butting heads with more guys. I think he just retires.

OKC also had their 2nd best player out and Williams as this point is a much better player than Lebron.PistolPeteJR wrote:JustBuzzin wrote:bstein14 wrote:There's 3 options...

Lakers loss in rd 1 last year despite being the favorites. They will win a lot of games but get exposed in the playoffs when you have to play defense.
OKC/Denver/Houston are the only true contenders out West.

He's looked mega washed in the few mins I've seen him play but the clippers are sorry af rn and have had some disgusting games, even with a full squad.
For example, in CP3's last game, Harden had a -39 game and Chris managed 15 mins and "only" a -8.
Kris Dunn has a worse overall +/- than CP3 and is starting.
According to State Muse, only 2 clippers have a positive +/- and that's Bogi and Christie.
CP3 looks hella washed but I would blame these stats more on the sorry state of the clippers in general.

Chris Paul is a dawg in a locker room full of small minded pups. Coach Lue is to blame.levon wrote:Clippers fans on Reddit having a mini Luka-leaving-Dallas moment. Some saying this is the lowest point of the franchise and that they're done.

Chris Paul needs to go to OKC and enjoy time with those young men. In reality, I expect him to go to Houston, or stay home in LA with the Lakers.
