Tyson Chandler 2 on 2. His best friend and high school teammate(Keith Brooks) from Dominguez Hills was my college roommate in California. I convinced Keith to let me change Tyson's answering machine to "WHAT!!!"

Arthur Agee("Hoop Dreams") 5 on 5. I accidentally picked him off. I immediately ran out of the gym with the ball. You have to understand, this was a day after the Seinfeld episode about "leaving on a high note" aired.

Scottie Pippen and Brent Barry. Just shooting around. Brent somehow got me to be his ballboy. The non-Tyson encounters were all at the same gym in Chicago, the East Bank Club. Lots of athletes/celebs go there. Or at least used to. I saw Woody Harleson and Oprah once. I asked Woody for an autograph and then kept walking.

I played basketball and ran track against Jaycee Carroll (4th highest 3-point percentage all time NCAA) in high school. He went undrafted in the NBA, got signed for a couple summer league stints, and is currently on a 3 year contract with Real Madrid.

Kid was a beast in high school, a flat-out deadly spot-up and pull-up shooter. You could guard him perfectly and he'd just make it rain in your eye all day long. He averaged 39.4 ppg his senior year.

I used to live by a really big park in a suburb of Orlando, Florida. Park was almost always packed at prime hours, and was known for heated match-ups. Started playing when I was 11, and played there off and on to 25 before moving. Played Scott Skiles, Nick Anderson, Horace Grant, Anthony Bowie, Terry Catledge, Donald Royal, and Johnny Taylor. Maybe played more, but those were the guys I knew 100% were NBA guys.

The best player were Skiles, Nick, and Grant. Skiles I played with and against tons of times. Every time I had to guard that dude he was intense. What was funny is we all knew the dude would be a coach because all he did was complain and tell people what to do all game long but sometimes he'd teach us stuff. I was young playing him though, like 13. I always remember being surprised that he drove a crappy car for a rich guy. I never guarded Nick thank god, he lit it up, and when I did guard Bowie he dunked on me when I talked crap to him. Bowie was the nicest NBA guy I have ever met. Dude was a role model.

At RDV where the magic practice, I've played Jason Williams (white chocolate) who was the best passer/ball handler I've seen on the court. Dude through a no look pass that hit a dude in the chest so hard he was coughing for two minutes. Played Darrell Armstrong in Horse and the dude didn't miss a single shot. I'm 6'4 and a quite decent rebounder, but playing against any 6'7+ NBA guy meant rebounds were a dream. It's the only thing that has annoyed me playing with them. If those guys want boards, you have very little chance.

But in HS, I played against Nick Young and played against Demar Derozan and Lil Romeo in AAU.

Old Muggsy a few years ago. He didn't dominate and he actually got blocked a lot by YMCA tier dudes. but what can you really expect he was like 45 years old 5'3 lost his athleticism.

Stephen Curry in elementary school league. He showed up to the first game, scored like 40 points and never came back. I guess we weren't worth his time lol

Never played against an actual NBA player, but have played against/with future NBA players while they were in high school and college - most of those I never actually went up against myself because they played different positions. I did get to play pick-up ball one time against Bob Sura, Charlie Ward, and Sam Cassell. Actually did fairly well against Ward and Cassell, but Sura completely dominated me. Had trouble getting a clean shot off against him.

Not directly but my HS team was rivals with Scottie Reynolds HS team. He kicked our ass regularly though we did bounce his ass out in the district and regional championship games one year.

I went to the same HS as Grant Hill and he used to run a summer camp here many years ago(like mid to late 90s). Buddy of mine wet a 3 in his face, Hill was not pleased.

Played against Sean Rooks back in the day at some park in Newport Beach, CA. He was in the NBA at the time so we were surprised that he was playing pick up ball at some outside court risking injury. He was the biggest guy there, by far, but wasn't really dominating like you would expect. He did dunk on my friend, though. I don't recall if we won or lost.

In high school, I played for Western High (Anaheim, CA) and we played against Marina High when Cherokee Parks was on the team.

When I went to Long Beach St in 92, I was playing pick up ball with some of the guys on the team (one being Lucious Harris who eventually was drafted) and the coach was there and afterwards asked if I wanted to try redshirting (I didn't even know what that meant at the time). But I had a very bad high school basketball experience (psycho varsity coach) and wanted nothing to do with coaches ever again. Still kinda regret it...even if I ended up riding the pine, it would have been nice to say I played for Long Beach St.

Played against Dragic once when we were both around 16 i think. I was guarding him and he me. We fought the whole game and even got into a little scuffle, he hit me and i hit him back.

To this day when ever he is in Ljubljana and we bump into each other in a club he still recognizes me and says hi. He is a really cool guy.

Anyway even then he was a lot better and more athletic then anyone on the court. He was really fast as hell.

I don't think I ever actually played with/against him, but Cole Aldrich went to my high school (which I am attending now). Now that I think about, I think he went to my middle and elementary schools too... He's the best player we ever had, and he's still like praised for how good he was, because he could back anyone down, block every shot, and was dunking non-stop. That's huge for an average sized, public school school in Minnesota that has a weak basketball program lol.

Thats about it lol.
