But the Raps defense is miles better than any of those Cavs teams

Danny green gets his confidence back and gets hot from 3 and plays well. He played very well in both the finals he previously played in

If he has Stephen guarding him...Danny is posting him up.

Don't forget that we [The Raptors] also have Patrick McCaw who is also a champion. LOL :D

well, because we might care about how they earned that one championship without KD, especially if we're going to give them extra credit for being champions coming into this series without KD.

Except you're ignoring all the teams they beat to get to the finals when they didn't have KD. Those matchups are all relevant when people give *credit* to the warriors without KD.

Being in the finals for the 5th year in a row (with essentially the same team) is an incredible accomplishment and also a huge advantage when playing against a team who's in the finals for the first time. Yes Kawhi and Danny are champions, but this is a whole different environment. I think Raps having homecourt is a something that might make the Warriors a little uncomfortable, given that they have always had homecourt advantage in the finals.
Still, Raps have a huge chance if KD is out. Once you put KD in the lineup, Kawhi's presence is essentially neutralized and it becomes an impossible matchup for any team.

This has to be a half court game for the Raptors. Can’t get suckered into a three point shootout. The high ball screen is coming and it will involve Gasol or Ibaka every time. No going under it. No guessing. Trap it hard if you’re going to trap it. Switch it fast if you’re going to switch it. Stay connected to Klay. He only needs one step in the wrong direction and you’re taking the ball out of the net. You passed a really tough algebra test in Milwaukee. This is calculus.

Punish em in the paint! Get the rebounds! Play with poise and dont get rattled on 2 or 3 straight 3s! And HAVE to make open shots!

Key to this series for the Raps:

- KD doesn't return
- Raps manage to keep Gasol on the floor
- Blitz by switching and trapping on everything
- Kawhi guards Draymond
- Finals Danny Green shows up
- Pascal Siakam returns to his old self now that he doesn't have to deal with lengthy guys like Giannis, Lopez, and Embiid.

But they also will miss the comfort of being guarded by Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson, Kyle Korver, Larry Nance, J.R, Kevin Love, etc..

Man that team was awful. Holy. Lebron was GOAT

This series should be a good referendum on Klay Thompson.

The perceived talent edge for the Warriors really comes down to whether you think Klay is a legit stud, better than anyone on the raps other than Kawhi, or whether he's the very mediocre player that his impact stats say he is.

We should get a good sense during this series which one is closer to the truth. Because imo the warriors are going to need Klay to be that kind of superior stud player that his reputation says he is if they want to win this series. If he's the player his impact stats say he is, they lose.

No lie -- I forgot about this series; haven't even been thinking about it. Warriors are so certain to win.

Unless it goes to 7, the ratings are going to bomb.
