He averages 26.5 points per game in the playoffs on 61%TS.. 8th all time in points per game in the playoffs and 5th in true shooting percentage so what more do you want??
How about a finals MVP from a guy with 3 rings? The supposed goat shooter and top 10 all time. Give me a break.

You statement was that he doesn't make those shots in the playoffs. Then whats this

Give me a break. If he had 3 finals MVPs you wouldn't be impressed. It would be,' Oh, that's just a bunch of drunk sportswriters voting for him.' Wait...that's who votes for that award, isn't it.
Actually I would be impressed. He can be a fun player to watch but I just hate the show boating and front running mentality he's displayed over the past 5 years or so. When he under performs in playoffs it really ain't a good look when you have been showboating while 20 points up on one of the worst teams in the regular season.

Lol at how vocal people are now after being so quiet last game.....at least I can front up and reply after he's played a great game unlike some of you. Guess that's why you can relate to and are a fan of a front runner like Steph

Steph is just amazing to watch. He makes those step back/off balance 3's like they're layups. Why even watch basketball if you can't appreciate that kind of greatness? Plus who cares about his fanbase. Every star player in the league has stans.

Appreciate him while he plays. All the fans from the 90s who ridiculed Malone, Kemp and Drexler are the ones singing their praises today. Don't be that guy who refuses to watch because you can't stand to see his team win. This is one of the more entertaining crop of greats the NBA has had in a while

Hey if he actually takes this team to the playoffs, I'm taking my hat off to him.

If you had to rank finals performances Kobe vs Steph, Curry easily outpaces him. Who cares about the awards. If Steph won the '15 MVP over Iggy (which he clearly deserved) it doesnt make him a better player. If Kobe lost the '09 MVP to Gasol (which was 50/50) it doesnt make him a worse player.

He's averaging 30/6/5 on the season and the team is beating much more talented squads. At what point do you offer a mea culpa and concede that it was a bad take based on too much bias?

With both sides having plenty of fodder over the next 60+ games... this thread might reach 9M posts.

To be fair, about 8,999,963 of them will simply be basic rehashes/repeats of previous posts. FUN!

He lost 2 play-off series in 5 years (out of 20 by my count), both finals series, and with injury excuses at least as valid as those made for LeBron in 2015 in one of those losses.

And why is it unacceptable to celebrate making impossible 3 point shots given the very common celebrations made by many players after dunking ?.
