I know RGM is whining about officiating, but it was fine until now, Reaves isn't getting his touch fouls from RS, and he is shook by it, he needs to snap out of it, this series will be a shoot out, not a mud fight and Lakers have no chance if he's not hitting.

Lakers first foul of the game was with 4min remaining in the first half. Do with that what you will.

Lakers 1st foul came very early, it was challenged and overturned, Lakers aren't fouling, plain and simple, look at the Wolves shot chart...

He is a shifty 3 level scorer. But his advantage is big size for a guard, which is no advantage vs wolves (besides Conley). And he is too slow to generate iso buckets on wolves wing defenders ala what Kyrie did last year. So its not the most ideal match up for Reaves.


But he will get with his shooting/scoring eventually.


His main base level use will be his extra ball handler playmaking and foul baiting lol

I said him and JMcD are even and now you see why.

It's all about matchups. But Lakers would be closer to true contenders if they had 14-16 pt Jaden who can defend 1-4 at elite level at 6'11.


Reaves is a playmaking 20pt regular season scorer. But the playmaking is just extra with Luka and Bron, but being average defender in 5 man lineup where no one else is better defender then him, most not even as good at him and it's his weakness, is not an ideal set up for Reaves or Lakers.

LA has zero full sized reliable bigs on its roster. Huge problem.

Teams are too good and smart to not abuse this. I can even see a scenario for a big offensive Gobert game.

Reaves needs to show up. There have been times where he was the Lakers best offense.

That said, NAW/McDaniels are like the perfect build to give him fits on defense.
